Interesting that Simms doesn't cover their products for the lifetime of the product as what if the replacement has the same flaw as the original (obvious manufacture defect).. Seems odd that they wouldn't cover it as well?! P

Wow! I surprised that Korkers only give a 1 year warranty when Simms and Patagonia give a life time warranty!! P

I order from Ickyflyworks and am very happy (satisfied) with the service, prices, speed of delivery, etc. Quality has been inconsistent, but Ben has always tried to compensate (replaces flies that I've found to be REALLY poor). To qualify this statement, I know going into this situation that the quality will NEVER be as good as professionally tied flies and fully accept this... Also, he doesn't offer the variety as some, but again I accept this... P

Interesting that this fellow decide to poach (steal) a few extra trout when he had free reign on as many perch that he could want (and eat, store, sell if he wanted, LoL)... IMHO, I'd say perch are way better eating then "raised in captivity" trout!! P

No, all the previous discussion had been about the interchangeable sole coming off consistently, but it sounds like they remedied the situation... P

I know that Sage and Scott are made (blanks rolled at factory in the US) in the US (hardware purchased offshore but assembled in US). P

Yet he can afford to live in a petty nice community that has pretty high community associated fees in addition to fairly high taxes (as opposed to on the streets, etc)! So sorry Darren, I don't by it! P

I know it's been discussed in previous threads but I have heard that there are way too many quality control issues with Korkers (specifically with their interchangeable soles staying on) - though I have no personal experience with Korkers, it's just what has come up in previous threads... P

I should qualify my response as I have a very hard to fit foot (narrow) so some of the boot manufactures I couldn't even consider (even with neo stocking feet)... I think Simms fit very wide, Patagonia, not so much!! P

Wow I'm kinda wondering how one actually wears down the "toes" of their boots!! You must be dragging your toes when you walk?! LoL I wear Patagonia Riverwalker in felt/studs and they are very comfortable (and light) - read some pretty good reviews on the "sticky rubber" but haven't used them (see the patagonia website for customer reviews)... Simms seem a bit beefier (and heavier), but can't go wrong with either as both their warrantees are stellar (if you'd ever need them warranteed). P

Hey 420, I'd be interested to find out the name of the Ranger (Warden) that gave you this advice as the NP Fishing Regs clearly state that it is "Unlawful" to Allow your catch to spoil or to be wasted. So by giving you this advise he/she was breaking the law - whether they were native or otherwise I would think... Now if these brookies were the ones that you ate, great, but if you actually threw them in the bushes they gave you bad advise and the next Warden by could have busted you (I would think)!! P P.S. Not trying to start anything just curious...
