  1. I love my 4 wt LL (my goto Bow River dry fly rod). If it's anything like that, it will make an AWESOME dry fly stick!! Can't justify that price however!!
  2. Gotcha! Thanks Brent! P
  3. See here: http://www.liveauctioneers.com/item/13521142_vintage-thomas-and-thomas-bamboo-wading-staff
  4. It's a wading staff!
  5. Yes they do!
  6. I think he meant the Hatch reel, not the Hardy....
  7. Just going with what is stated on their website, dude! "...we use both U.S and Korean manufactured components" "Assembled" and "Made" are two totally different things!!
  8. Mike, Just another reminder that of the ones you list, all are made off shore (and assembled in the USA) except the lslanders and Bauers which are (totally) made in Canada and the USA respectively... If you are at all concerned about quality, that is...
  9. Isn't that how Steve Irwin (the former crocodile hunter) died?!
  10. No not a bird, per se, but I think Colin mentioned it last time we were out fishing!
  11. Sweet "SeaMonster" Dave! I have a previous version of it in Titanium!! P

  15. Remember folks, this proposal will restrict OHV use, which in my opinion is ok (others may not agree, but that is your right)!!
  16. Over the last few years wool (merino) has come back in popularity.! As with synthetics it still insulates when wet (damp) but with the added advantage that it doesn't stink! There are a few brands, Patagonia, smart wool, Icebreaker, and Ibex are all great brands, but MEC and Helly Hanson, etc. all have their own, as well... P
  17. It features an older gentleman talking about his COPD and how it has restricted ( no pun intended) him fishing with his grandson. Notice the type of rods they are using!! Spinning rods with fly reels on them!! LoL! Can't the advertising people consult the appropriate "professionals"?! This the 2nd or 3rd ad that features a fly angler that isn't close to being accurate. I've noticed similar screw ups with any ads that feature rock climbing or mountaineering!
  18. Talk to Colin (cdone). He's Snowbee prostaff and will have the answers you seek. The Snowbee waders he has have lasted a longtime. And if memory serves me correctly, Snowbee was the 1st to develop front zippered waders that everyone one else copied!!
  19. Got'cha!
  20. Sealline! What are you looking for Jay just a dry bag/pack? I might be able to help you out... Or are you looking for a specific bag like the SIMMS or Fish Pond ones that look like a soft side cooler? There are also the barrel type dry storage that might also work for you that are inexpensive @MEC (or you can also get some olive barrels from restaurants)... P
  21. If you google the guy, he's from New York! Any of you face bookers or linkedin'rs can contact him directly!
  22. Yes Jared, I already do that, That wasn't the issue I was experiencing for the most part, but good advice nonetheless. P
