  1. For sure, that makes sense. Great, now I've got a lot of things to try out.
  2. I hear you on the foam. Nothing stopping you from tying some Dave's Hoppers like this or even some half foam SA Hoppers. When you use that, do you just thread the tippet through, or is it actually tied onto the eye?

    A Day In The Sw

Nice pics Taco. Love the look of that little pool.
  4. Just a couple hours left in this month's contest. Get you image and story posted up before midnight MST. Good luck everyone.
  5. Nice. I'd love a sixer sometime. The best I'va had so far is a four species day.
  6. Perhaps leave a copy of the book there as well, or look into having an outhouse build there.
  7. Tie up some in Electric Chicken Colours (Pink / chartreuse) and Showgirl (purple / pink).
  8. Take a look here - http://flyangler.ca/forum/index.php?showtopic=1344 The best thing to do though is to use a service such as flickr.com or photobucket to upload your images to. From there you can link it to any site. My recomendation is to use flickr as it has some other great features and no pop-up adds on the site. Use the BBCode with the URL of the image you want to post. [img=http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2547/3827839487_aa8d24fbe9.jpg] Here are the results.
  9. One week left to get your photos posted.
  10. Awesome Fish! Thanks for sharing it.
  11. It's too thin new for what I use it for, so I would need to let it sit for a couple days. I'm fine with the acetone, just taking care not to spill it on myself.
  12. I get the hard as nails at the drug store around the nail polish and the Acetone at the hardware store. I've tried using some commercial nail polish remver once on a small amount of cement and it didn't go so well. The straight stuff is the only way to go as Jack says.
  13. Hope you both had a great day.
  14. I've got some pure acetone I use for my head cement. Thanks.
  15. I've got some that is just a bit too thick. Anyone know what to use to thin it out a bit?
  16. What hook are you using? You could move up a size on a shorter shanked hook perhaps.
  17. echo on the look of that brown. You gotta love small creeks with surprised hidden inside them like that.
  18. My Buddies found a corvette in their fishing hole a while back. See the second / third video. http://lance-taylor.net/fiftynorth.ca/?p=112
  19. We might look at choosing themes for future months, but to start things off, it's a free for all. Just make sure the images have some relation to fishing. Landscapes, Grip and grins, macro, insect, gear.... anything goes.
  20. it's my nickname. Not exactly sure where it came from though.
  21. Looks like a rainbow. The spots are a bit dark, but not that unusual for the smaller wild guys.
  22. I'll take that big stone in the middle thanks. http://www.globalsaskatoon.com/technology/...7870/story.html
  23. Thanks for the Link Weedy. Can't wait to hear if they get the jail time of huge fines. It would be a travesty if they got off free though.

    Kid's Photos

Nice fish. How big are they stocking them in there?
  25. Cool, will have to visit next time I'm in town. Had this a couple times..... Doug's "Don't Fear the Reaper" Burger $15.00 Four Patties, 4 Bacon pieces, 2 cheese slices, 1 fried egg, topped with a 100% All-Beef wiener, Boogie's Signature Red Sauce and all the fixings.
