I hear you on the foam. Nothing stopping you from tying some Dave's Hoppers like this or even some half foam SA Hoppers. When you use that, do you just thread the tippet through, or is it actually tied onto the eye?

It's too thin new for what I use it for, so I would need to let it sit for a couple days. I'm fine with the acetone, just taking care not to spill it on myself.

I get the hard as nails at the drug store around the nail polish and the Acetone at the hardware store. I've tried using some commercial nail polish remver once on a small amount of cement and it didn't go so well. The straight stuff is the only way to go as Jack says.

What hook are you using? You could move up a size on a shorter shanked hook perhaps.

We might look at choosing themes for future months, but to start things off, it's a free for all. Just make sure the images have some relation to fishing. Landscapes, Grip and grins, macro, insect, gear.... anything goes.
