  1. Great shots. You should enter them into the September photo contest. The theme is head shots.
  2. Actually, I'll make it 2. Let's show her some Canadian hospitality.

  4. Din won the august contest.
  5. Nice broons Andikapp. Welcome to the site.
  6. Awesome! You have some great images and some great looking fish to boot. Glad I can see these places through your posts, because I don't think I'd make it to those locations otherwise.
  7. Have a good one Dude!
  8. Must be record season. Just found a thread on a record brown being netted. http://rockymtnfly.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=4436
  9. They stock triploids in there I believe, or have at some point from what I have been told. regardless, they must have a stellar food source in order to get that large.
  10. Can't wait to see a picture.
  11. Nice fish Dude.
  12. Ya, The Peer to peer has been down for quite a while. I've talked to Kevin, the programmer and am hoping that he'll continue to work on the program. I really enjoyed using it, and still do, but without the peer to peer support, it takes away from it a bit. BTW, if anyone is interested in getting my archive of .fly files, send me a PM and I'll give you a web address where you can download it. There are about 1700 flies in a zip file.
  13. Have you guys done any throat pumps to get a glimpse at that they are eating? How is the perch situation after all the netting that has been done?

    West Coast Pic's

Thanks for posting the pics Gary. Wondering what your best fly of trip happened to be, that purple marabou iron looks interesting.
  15. I've always wanted to play harmonica, but I can only make it sound like a rutting elk. Eddy, do you compete at the professional level of Air Guitar? http://www.airguitar.ca/news/
  16. Have a good one.
  17. That is a sweet looking slab. Nice job!
  18. Not 100% sure, but I think that the developer was at one time making a mac version as well as a unix version. It's too bad it's been fading as the site here supports the .fly files it uses.
  19. Sorry to hear about your grandpa. **** the haters on here and post away. It's why we created the site in the first place, to share our experiences on the rivers and lakes. Nice pics.
  20. Hope it's a good one Andrew!
  21. I'm not sure how well they would fish, but I know that Dave and Max have thrown a few and caught a few browns out of the bow. If I was going to fish this one, I'd tie up a tandem on shorter shanks for sure. Carrie herself landed some really nice landlocked Salmon and large lake dwelling Brookies. I'm still trying to get a Carrie original, but I'm not prepared to dish out 300$ + for a fly just yet. lol
  22. Here is a Carrie Stevens pattern I've been working on. I've always got a few things I need to improve upon, but it's getting close. Mickey Doodle Hook: Partridge CS15 #4 Thread: White 6/0 Body: Silver tinsel Belly: Yellow bucktail Throat: Red schlappen Wing: Yellow hackle over red hackle Shoulder: Red Chinese hen back Eye: Jungle Cock nail Head: Black 6/0 thread with a red band
