  3. We might look at choosing themes for future months, but to start things off, it's a free for all. Just make sure the images have some relation to fishing. Landscapes, Grip and grins, macro, insect, gear.... anything goes.
  4. it's my nickname. Not exactly sure where it came from though.
  5. Looks like a rainbow. The spots are a bit dark, but not that unusual for the smaller wild guys.
  6. I'll take that big stone in the middle thanks. http://www.globalsaskatoon.com/technology/...7870/story.html
  7. Thanks for the Link Weedy. Can't wait to hear if they get the jail time of huge fines. It would be a travesty if they got off free though.

  10. Is Boogies burgers still around? Edmonton trail?
  11. Just found a nice little cache of casting videos shot using a 500 frame per second camera. Interesting action on the rods and cool to see things slowed down a bit. http://revver.com/u/grunde/ via http://jasonborger.com/

  14. Ya, it's a party spot. My friends and I got shot at with a .22 once when we used to frequent the spot. Haven't been back in a while. Glad to hear that there was some justice served.
  15. Did you burn mp3's or did you burn an audio CD?
  16. Hope it's good...
  17. It refreshes the cashe. It probably worked on the first try, but the cashe will hold your old image until it is refreshed. F5 reloads the page.
  18. lol thanks, those were great.
  19. Pretty tough to say, but my first instinct was a coyote. 100% 200%
  20. Is there a link to a registration page or do we need to register through the shop?
  21. Lots of great looking fish. I may try going for a few Great Lakes Pinks this year. What flies work best for you on the west coast?
  22. Ya, I heard this on the news last night. Amazing. They said the boy was most worried about leaving the truck behind. lol Happy to hear this one turned out with a safe return.
  23. Click here if the movie does not play. This is a cool story. How to stick it to airlines that mess with your *hit. <a href="http://www.davecarrollmusic.com/story/united-breaks-guitars/"'>http://www.davecarrollmusic.com/story/united-breaks-guitars/" target="_blank">http://www.davecarrollmusic.com/story/united-breaks-guitars/</a> Gotta love Canadian indi musicians.
  24. I've switched most of my dries to scud hooks a while ago. I use an Eagle River light wire scud, but you should be able to find something similar in tiemco. The 94840 is a good hook, but if you want a better straight shank, look at the mustad Signatures or Partridge hooks. If you go to nymph hooks, you will need to modify your patterns to comp for the extra hook weight. If you have a heavy hackled fly like a Griffiths Gnat, it shouldn't be a problem, but most won't work so well.
