LynnF Posted September 25, 2008 Posted September 25, 2008 I'm gonna let you all guess how fun Saturday night music night is in our house: Mike's CD (IPOD): Ron Sexsmith Sunny Terry and Brownie McGhie Leon Russell Tom Russell Sailcat John Prine Fred Eaglesmith Arlo Guthrie Pete Seger Steve Forbert Omar and the Howlers Brett Dennan Manfred Mann Jimmy Buffett (let's get drunk and screw is the only song I like) Neil Young James Taylor (I did see him in concert and I will admit I do like some of his stuff) Simon and Garfunkel Gordon Lightfoot Eagles And any other obscure/folk artist you can think of Lynn's CD: Collective Soul Run DMC Gap Band Johnny Gill System of a Down Guns 'n Roses Soundgarden 3 doors down Nickelback Zappacosta Justin Timberlake Fiddy Cent Sean Kingston Soundgarden (whole Temple of the Dog CD ROCKS) Oasis And any other rockin'/thumpin' beats you can think of. Do we have the same tastes or what?! Oh...and forget the 8-track....the car I learned to drive on - a 67 Mustang - had a reel to reel built into the back dash. One day it was so hot the tapes melted...then we got our 8 track LOL Quote

Thickfreakness is also an awesome record from them, but The Big Come Up is my favourite, just good, raw, grungy garage-blues. They are a better duo than the White Stripes, imo Quote
