Tungsten Posted December 21, 2012 Author Posted December 21, 2012 Playing with some bench supports, This is a 1/4" sheet of foam sucking down a layer of glass on each side,i can then cut out my pieces. Built a jig to hold the 2 pieces at a 90 while i fillet and tape together. They were a little long so I cut offf 8" and gave them a test.Pretty strong considering how light they are. Access hole cut, alligned ready for glue. Quote
Tungsten Posted December 21, 2012 Author Posted December 21, 2012 Working on the rowers seat, Done, Quote
Tungsten Posted December 28, 2012 Author Posted December 28, 2012 Bench build, just using BB ply left over from my first build. Not concerned about weigh as this just gets tossed in the truck before i load the boat on top. had to lower it a bit as it ended up a little high, Anchor cleat to hold the scotty thing, this brings you upto date, right now working on fishing seat . Muffin Posted December 28, 2012 Posted December 28, 2012 Awesome looking boat. I imagine it handles great with the size. With a boat smaller like that would you get pushed around more? My buddy had an old wooden drift boat we fixed up but it was a tank, especially with 3 guys averaging about 250 lbs/person. Quote
