Swede Posted April 9, 2010 Posted April 9, 2010 Well all post this in here about 27 or 28 based on a quick measurement on my rod and checked a few mins after release with a tape. Not quite as nice as my Red Deer River browns ,the biggest I cant post because as I was posing for a photo he decided to slap me across the face with his tale and escaped. Got the picture but not very flattering for me or the fish. No worries he landed in about 8 feet of water and was gone. Thats one thing I force myself to do is stay in the water when handling fish.

darrinhurst Posted April 9, 2010 Posted April 9, 2010 A brown in the 19" - 20" range. I don't carry a tape measure, and use my net opening as a guide. I figure it was about 19-20" as the opening is 17.5" long.

Caught the rainbow the same day as the first of the big browns. I also caught the biggest sucker I've ever caught on the same day. Some sort of obscure trifecta.

Tungsten Posted April 9, 2010 Posted April 9, 2010 Brown 27 3/8 measured have landed larger but i have no idea how long.Bow around the same,both fish where caught in the spring before the 1995 or 98 whenever it was flood.Haven't landed anything over 26 since.There's always this year.
