  1. bladders should be Urethane at that price point like outcasts higher end boats
  2. The Launch may be open the all the construction from the condo, you cant get down the road.
  3. Kelly says he ties em sparse, and his flies are not designed to sink on there own, use a sink tip and it will dive when you strip the line. Dead or dying fish float and try and dive for cover but can't or struggle, he likes to imitate crippled fish. I got his book around here somewhere.
  4. It will row fine. I've rowed a large boat with brunise in it and it was fine a bit more effort but not bad.
  5. Would not buy that one cause it lacks a knee brace. Also it could just be me, it looks backwards, if I'm floating the bow I want the caster in front and rower behind.
  6. I must ask how will the police deal with a boat? Last I heard the police did not have a boat.
  7. Yea walleye fishing is a bout as exciting as realling in a rubber boot. That said I do a bunch of it.
  8. when you run a fly shop like fish tales, you don't have to worry about what your supplier does, or what bass pro shop does, cause you feel like family in there even when you only go in the shop once a year (although they always seem to remember wind your fly line on backwards, and remember to do it every time right hand retrieve instead of left hand retrieve yes he does it on purpose its a running joke). I do shop at bass pro there the only place i can get the ammo i like to shoot in my 22-250, do i buy fly fishing stuff there no, why cause there is no price difference between them and fish tales or who ever.
  9. There are lots of condo, townhouse style places you can rent, and in banff the bus runs to them all and its free, so you can have a few to drink then bus it back to where the bed is
  10. That sucks dude, same about the buck you could of harvested. I got a section east of bass pro shops, ill be driving the field in my truck and ill get a phone call from the dink on 20 acres someone is on my land again, caught a couple people out there shooting stuff, and driveing though my canola this year.
  11. If your glassing and watching your game, it will move than you should have a better idea of what it is. That said buck fever comes from seen a BIG buck like a 165 inch or bigger, pretty sure you have to see it before you know its a gagger!
  12. Im sorry did he shoot at you cause you where not wearing orange! Also if that is all he said i would of called the cops.
  13. when pushing bush to bump deer for buddies danmed right the orange is on, that said we setup a shoot area only shoot if deer is in said area (unless i confirm i am safe IE i know im behind the shooter) and the area we do bump on the farm house is to the back of the shooter so he better not even point that gun in that direction or he will be picking up his teeth.
  14. Does he know if the gun counter is hiring? Dont buy much fishing gear there but i get great service at there gun counter, very much on par with wholesale sports.
  15. Okay, so they have a boat with no registration on it. CO dont care not there job to enforce it CPS dont care, and can to enforce it if they wish, but how do you catch a jet skier on water with a car? Bylaw, they care but again they are on water Fire department, do they really care? if so how far do they go to chase these guys all the way down to caresland? I really don't think there is much anyone can do.
  16. Screw the ticket TOW em. That drives me nuts too, and i got stories but im sure i would be banned if i shared em.
  17. Did they say anything about brokerage fees? Cause that might kill you right there, i will not ship UPS international as they always kill me with brokerage
  18. Im sure i said this already im sure the truth was in there shorts.
  19. They will not be able to keep the bear, just like if you shoot a deer or moose out of season, or hit it with your car.
  20. Most of the stuff was clearly used, and not just discount for stuff that wont sell. Some of it had alot of mud and stuff, like someone bought it then returnered it after a hunting trip. It all goes up for auction again tommorow evening if not sold, than priceing will be adjusted according to the nice lady i talk too. As for it being in a auction house, dont know how many auction other attend. But i got to quite a few, and ive seen used tractors go for more than a brand new one off the lot (new holland td 80, why do i know just bought one) an 1986 fifth wheel about 20 feet in rough shape for 8500$. People get auction fever bad sometimes. that said we do manage to get some good deals, but it can be a tough way to spend a day.
  21. It sure is, all seemed slightly or well used, lady said they where bass pro return items. The prices i got was almost retail. I my opinion as soon as something is used that is usually a 50% discount i know i try and sell my stuff that way.
  22. Not my type of hunting, to sit and wait for one to come in, but from my understanding the only real way to get them to come in with some sort of consistency. That is how i got mine, was baiting with popcorn and beavers. When we did shoot ours, we where asked buy a family member to take care of a few problems bears on there section west of Cremona, there neighbors, left for the summer and in there wake left lots of bird feed many bags of it on the back deck for the birdies, the short sighted city people did not realized that it would bring in bears as well. Like i said i shot it so i best eat too. I think more people should kill there own food and see the process just once so they do know where there food comes from. I much perfer spot and stock deer hunting, elk or moose my self much to jittery to sit in a stand for more than 15 mins.
  23. first you cant hunt grizz, just black bear. secondly, you can and most do eat the meat off a black bear. At the very least you eat the hams, the bear i shot i eat all the meat, that you could realistically eat.
  24. For the life of me i cant find, a pair of mec pants that gives me the space i need where a guy should need it. I find hunting pants, and cabelas hiking pants are by far the most comfy pants i can find. Every pair of hunting pants i own seem to be quite comfy, i dont know what it is but really comfy, the bad part is i hate wearing camo around.
  25. if your coming during stampede you might have a hard time getting a place you best start looking for a hotel soon
