  7. Signed as well.. It's sad to hear how the more experienced gents on this forum talk about this fishery in the days past. I've only known it as it is today and wish I could have seen it before it was significantly destroyed
  8. Question Adrienne, do you just leave your SLR on the bank when you're fishing? I want to bring mine but I'm too afraid of it being anywhere near the river, haha.

  12. True, I get at least one very intricate tangle each time out with the thingamabobbers
  13. I use clear (glow in the dark) Thingamabobbers, 3/4" Tried fish pimps when I was first learning to cast and they were a nightmare... The surgical tubes just kept slipping down my fly line.
  14. Yes I did.. got some good information. Thanks to those who replied with their PFD preferences.
  15. I had this discussion with a few guys in the bow conditions thread, but after searching the archives I found no threads dedicated to PFDs for wading. Here goes! Sounds like most guys use some sort of PFD when wading, and especially when wading on the Bow with our chia pet rocks. I'm in the market for a PFD and I just want to get some feedback on the brands out there that you guys use. Are there vests that have inflatable PFDs? Any bad luck cases where auto inflatables deploy in bad weather or if you slipped and took a dunk in shallow water? Any advice helps!
  16. Hey, I was 4.. Not guaranteeing those memories were accurate.
  17. I remember seeing the mountains for the first time when I was 4 at the '88 Olympics on our way out from Winnipeg to Nakiska. I was blown away at the size and beauty of the mountains... and I still rememeber peering out our van window straight up at the snowy peaks! I now live out here and have the same love for the mountains every time I come see them. Just a cool memory from my early childhood and the '88 Olympics.
  18. It's my Longfield IPA home brew.. in a WR pint glass.
