Why would you want to change the network? The password should be simple enough to do. I'm using Airport and tap into a Linksys network with no issue at all

They used to get them from a company in BC not sure if they still do or not. Can't remember the name off hand.

Nice idea in theory but what is a commonly asked question? Lately any question would qualify. Pinning makes a long list that no one will likely look at....... using the search feature is the probable best option.

Sparkle yarn is a form of antron....it's a trilobal fibre.

Welcome Leroy. Did Carolyn work on the new series with you? I found it great that she did the one series with you and she adds a different spin on things as well at times.

It's really the only book you need. I used to have about 7 or 8 tying books but now this is the only one I have. I consider this a MUST HAVE reference

What are you expecting out of the new laptop and what platform? Not clear if you are looking for pc or mac.

There are times I've thought of setting something up like this but the problem is it will get contaminated with useless nonsense posts. To do this effectively the thread would have to be closed and pinned.......which means no one can post to it except admin and/or mods. If someone would come up across a useful link it would have to be sent to an admin/mod for addition. This would be the only effective way to create what is recommended short of a dedicated site. Perhaps threads something like this could be set up but it would require admin approval and setup. If this is something you would like to see let us know.

I was getting mine out of Edmonton last year and since I moved back to this part of the country several years ago. Prior to that I got it in Quebec for years as it was readily available near the base. My Edmonton source is out of business now but I won't be needing any for quite a while now.....probably get from out east again when needed unless some one local starts carrying it.

This link is for a Mac hardware update......we order a Mac Pro last week and being it wasn't shipped yet we are getting the upgraded version at no extra charge....turns out to be a good deal for our unit as we got a major processor upgrade......can't wait to see the new 8 core run some of the apps I run. Should be super fast. The OS upgrade I was told by someone at Mac is probably coming latter this summer or early fall.

Could it be a driver issue on the hardware side?

You may not like this answer but I have yet to find a place that has all the items I use to tie with. You need to diversify your supply locations my friend. It pays dividends to shop at most if not all the local shops, you'll be surprised at what info you can come away with and best of all it 's free info.....added bonus at times is you can be shown some neat tips and tricks.

Whichever side of the hook has the most weight on it is the side that will be on the bottom. Think like the keel on a boat. Your hook could be in any position on a 360 degree plane depending on where the most weight is.

You can't beat a real outlet as you can inspect the materials first hand BEFORE putting out your hard earned cash. I have never been totally satisfied with material other than hooks that i've bought on line.
