Screw the law. I usually tazer them. Just kidding. I have gotten into more than one serious confrontation. On the Fraser a guy was ready to kill my friend and tried to drown him, all from saying, we would be glad to help revive and release the fish he just caught, as we saw him poach other fish. Was a very nasty day. Be extremely cautious. I hate the chain guys.

Howdy all. Just curious if there have been any recent problems with the land renter with the two crazy dogs near the Highwood lately? Was thinking of that area.

I hooked a swooping gull many years ago while casting. I was just below Carseland Weir and by the time I got the gull and removes the hook, I was way down the river. It was not happy with me and tried many times to bite me.

No but it does not hurt to ask. Both were many years ago. Can't imagine over the years how much gear has been lost in the Bow.

A member posted on Bow River conditions, that he caught a hammer fishing once. That lead me to say I have caught 2 rod and reel sets over the years with a streamer on the bottom, one on the Highwood and one on the Bow. Also caught a pair of runners my cousin wore for years. I have also lost a brand new set of prescription glasses.What are some of the odd items you members have hooked into over the years?

I keep the fish in the net submerged, then a fast pic out and back, but now if I even take a pic, it will be in the net in water only.
