  1. Amen to that, next thing you know it is a chinook day in January and you are on the water with electric socks and taking ice off your rod guides. Just remember even if you don't get one the first few times out enjoy the experience. Lots to enjoy even without catching a fish although it does make the day a little better usually.
  2. It is amazing how BBT and I both got into fly fishing for similar reasons. One question BBT Camelot is on mars? Other than that I see no flaws opinion or scientific about your story. The Camelot bit is really hanging me up though, forcing me to explore the option that your story all be it amazing may not be 100% accurate.... Is this possible?
  3. e·lec·tro·dy·nam·ics (-lktr-d-nmks) n. (used with a sing. verb)The study of moving electric charges and their interaction with magnetic and electric fields. For the non-scientific amongst us. Clive always uses bigger words.
  4. Hooray, happy to hear you had some success Uber.
  5. I agree that I would have bought but this tight surprises me. Been an interesting season even if they are all a bunch of rich, spoiled brats.
  6. I missed the game last night sadly but I got tickets to the one on Wednesday I just hope I can walk out with head held high and 5 wins in a row and in the playoffs. Jeez it is a tight race again.
  7. That is perfect, thank you very much everyone. Now I have a couple of options to go and explore.
  8. Ha-ha so true, better than my Oilers. They just fall apart, another tough year for being a hockey fan in Alberta. At least my backup playoff team (the penguins) are looking sharp. Thanks Cheeler I will stop by and do that for sure. I was debating about hockey laces but I thought there might be something a little better out there.
  9. I would be interested to participate in the Bow river cleanup day. Bring a few garbage bags out and try to make a bit of a difference.
  10. Hello everyone when I was out last weekend I managed to snap one of the laces on my Caddis Northern Guide Lightweight boots. The boots are only a year old so they are still in great shape so I am looking to pick up some replacement laces. I looked around the web and I was unable to find any specific replacement laces for the boots which is fine considering that they broke in a year the first time. I do have a few ideas for laces but I was wondering if anyone else had any good or bad experiences on replacement laces for these boots or just boots in general? Here are the boots in case it helps: http://www.caddiswaders.com/products.php?category=shoes&product=66 Thank you, Russ
  11. Again another amazing set of pics, thanks for posting.
  12. White is a classic and then really anything bright/neon. I find everyone's eyes will find it easier to pick up a particular color. Also things such as polarized lenses could have bearing on it.
  13. My first entry level rod was a Reddington although I forgot the actual model. It was a 6 wt two piece and very great to get started. I am still using 6 wt rio gold wf line but on a different rod and reel setup. If you are just new to fishing I think you have a entry level rig to get out there and catch some fish and enjoy nature.
  14. Perfect thanks a lot Roast and Jayhad.
  15. Little off topic from the original post, when you say clean your fly lines how do you go about that?
  16. Printed and signed, thanks for the reminder.
  17. Hello everyone, did anyone create an account recently and have any issues? Admins is there a problem with the account creation page? I have two friends attempting to create accounts and they get the following error message: " The security code you supplied did not match the one displayed, a new code has been generated, please try again Your answer to the challenge question was not valid. Please try again. " They did try using both goose and minnow for the registration question with no success. Thanks for any help.
  18. Oh really is that what justifies a Brown now? It looks more like bait compared to the beast I am holding in my picture. Just kidding I would love to catch a brown like that some day.
