Just received my renewal...they did not mention an increase in the letter, I am sure they would need to, will have a closer look when I go home. I would check out Royal Bank Ins if I was you...I switched last year and saved a pile of cash on auto and home!

I agree, it will be very helpful to have someone like Mike on the staff. Always enjoyed the info I received from him at Wholesale. For me I am in the Bermuda triangle of fly shops..Heritage and Macleaod. West Winds, Russells, Country pleasures, wholesale and even fish tales. Can't see myself visting too often, but that end of the city is sure growing!

I use an old desk at home, and when a picknick table is unavailable a tv tray works for me when you are in the bush. I think more importantly is what you use to carry all your material and tools around in. A buddy of mine turned me on to one of those big tackle boxes the gear chuckers use. Lots of compartments and durable.

Lots of large Chronomids....preping for the BC lakes this spring. Also tones of tiny midges for those chinook winds this winter on the bow

This was an amazing season for me...I landed more fish this year than ever. I finally got that Bow River figured out and left the skunk in the bush were he belongs! Just in time with the price of fuel, better to stay close to home. I am 100% addicted to the rush of those Bow R trout.....sunshine, snow or rain...nothing is going to keep me off that river I now understand more than ever how my fishing balances my life... I myself have been very pleased with Bell. Billing and service have been excellent. I got my package boxing week one year and the sales gal hooked me up huge. I used to carry everything with Telus..cell..homePH...internet, ther slowly lost all my business due to poor service....at the end of the day I sure you can have nasty experiences with all carriers.

I have the Olympus and its deadly....I believe I saw the picture burst feature mentioned earlier on....this is an wicked feature and the only one I use now for fish porn. Sometimes you just don't click it at the right time. With that feature you end up with 10 pics to choose from. Any of those models would be a good investment

Always disapointing to see such an amazing animal killed. I don't hunt...anything but fish that is, don't think I could pull the trigger. Could not imagine running into that guy on a trail or stream........

Totally agree with tihs comment.. I have never waded there, but only floated through, it does make you want to check it out...but the mass amounts of people down there will keep me miles away....that is part of the reason I go fishing in the first place..of course I also love bagging those amazing trout too! My opinion if people are okay with that type (busy as a shopping mall) of fishing and there are no studies showing significant harm to the fish then let people fish.

What a monster!!!

I hooked my very understanding buddy right through his nose. To top it off I had neglected to pinch my barb...which is not my style, just a mistake on this instance. We would pull it and his nose would just stretch down. I finally just had to giver gears with my pliers! very understanding buddy!

I would definately recommend giving online purchasing a try. Retail pricing for any type of decent fly is crazy. Ebay is a good place to start....You should try to build a decent order with one seller to spread the shipping over as many units as you can. I am trying to tie more often my self..greater satisfaction! good luck

I fished it from shore with a full sink with good success. Stripping in a small green scud. Lots of whitefish
