Unforntantly I will no take part in this poll as it is way to slated to one side. What I would suggest is do something like. A. Size and type of craft restriction B. None at all c. From Poilce to Mckinnons only d. From Mckinnons to Carsland c. Carseland down U could get really fine tune cause if your going to point the finger at one type of river craft you really should be pointing the finger at ALL river crafts

Anyways getting back to the topic, alot of the stores here in town have demo models and I am sure if you brought in your rod they would have one with a line on it that you can try, unforntantly you will not getting that "FIGHTING" experince but something is better then nothing.

I Have used the velocity but in a spey size and it was nice, however I am a bit crazy when it comes to the clicker noise and the lamson was driving me slowly insane with the clicker noise. With that beeing said I liked the reel but have since sold it.

I have a Hardy Angel (New one) that I have been using the last little bit and I really like it. The biggest thing for me was that I was able to remove the clicker with no problems and in the box it came with a extra clicker, I liked this as it showed me that hardy had designed to either replace or remove the clicker. Other reels I have used that had impressed me where the following Bauer Loop Opti Hatch I know these reels are expensive but I have found that when I went to a cheep reel it either a. Broke within a year or two or b. The drag system sucked ass

I Personally do not carry a net anymore, I am pretty cofident in my fish handling skills, and if I lose the fish before it gets to my hands oh well it doesn't matter to me. However I will say there are times when a net is good, big fish in dangerous water, from a boat, helping out a friend who's fish has taken a huge run and is way down river, etc.. Not saying you need to use a net or you dont need to use a net.

300grain Airflo Sagit (on a single hand 6wt 9foot 6) Learn some simple single hand spey casts and watch out Allows you to turn over big heavy nymphs rigs, excellent for out of the boat, when you want to punch through the wind with little effort no problem. Large arbour reel is nice to have (I have been using a bauer mxp and a Hardy Angel) and for the shooting line, I just choped it in half, as I see it 30+ feet with head and leader, 20 feet of shooting line, then my backing..............

I like this, for someone like me if I wanted to buy a pair of simms waders I need to get a size that most shops do not carry or get the custom fit ones. I like to buy in shops but sometimes they do not have or carry the item I want, so having another option is very benfitial to me. Also I would like to add that anyone who starts a company is to make money, and if you are not making money then what is the point in opening a company.

I use a 6wt 9foot 6 and I have placed a 270gr compact scandi and it works unbelivable great from a boat. With the shooting head no need for back cast a simple roll cast and watch the line go out. Personally I think a shooting line is ideal from a boat as it allows you to put on a heavy rig and still cast it with little to no effort, and for someone like me that has serious problems with my shoulder it makes life so much easier. Another bonus with this is you can use it from shore too and still get great distance with little to no effort. Learn some single hand spey casts and it is the game changer, espically when you want to throw three big heavy nymphs during high water. If you asre around the south end of the city let me know and I will be happy to come out and show you my set up.

I forget the name of the hotel( I belive it is a best western) and they are down the road from where the film is beeing played, there is also Boston Pizza and Original Joes in the same area, so if you want to have a couple of drinks you can walk to your hotel, no need to drink and drive, imo its just not worth it. Edit, I just googled it and it is a Hospitality Inn that is down the road from where the film is beeing played.

Big question now is, who becomes Jake's new best friend.
