Thanks for the info, it is pretty much what I thought it was but I didn't want to say something and make me look like a ass. Anyways I am starting to dislike obma more and more, he may have done some stuff for the USA Health Care system which is a huge step forward, but his stand against Canada's Dirty Oil is really starting to piss me off.

I guess I may have phrased my question wrong, I wanted to know what makes coal any cleaner then oil or natural gas, if so is it that much more and is it infact cleaner then other methods or are these company just using the term CLEAN COAL for sales purpose.
-
I don't really see this as putting a spin on things, I see this as propaganda, if in fact their coal does produce more polution then who are they to call our Oil sands dirty oil... The thing that really gets me is that the oil sands produce less then 1% of the world's pollution and we are the bad guys. Now I do not disagre that their are enviromental issuses dealing with the oil sands (which I will admit I know very little about) but is it just me or is it ALBERTA vs the World.......... I also think the only reason why green peace attacks alberta so hard is because they can't go to some of these other countries and protest about pollution because they would probably be killed. *edit* Thanks for the infor peter, but correct me if I am wrong, but isn't coal still a fossil fuel and if all of a suddenly we stopped using oil and gas and went to coal, would we not one day use up all of this resource and would it just not be the same as using up all the oil supplies? Also I understand that the method of using the coal and the way it is refiendend might be better but what about getting it out from the ground, what kind of eviromental issuses arise from this?

I'm just trying to understand the whole thing cause all the information I have seen on the television in the form of commerical is very vague and doesn't give alot of information. All it really does is paint a pretty picture of a nice clean life.
-
I will start off by saying I know very little about this, hence why I am asking the EXPERTS on this site about it. Recently Watching alot of american channels I have seen alot of proagranda (sp?) coming out of the States saying don'tt use natural gas or oil but use their new clean coal. My question is I always thought coal produced more polution then oil or natural gas, am I wrong? Also if coal does produce more polution then how can you have clean coal?????? Now please remeber I know very little about this and am asking a question.

When Frankie was last in town (not including the expo, if he was there since I wasn't) I was able to play with his switch rods which had the same grip to it, so when I picked up my AEG rod I klnew what I was getting, what I liked about it was how the handle turned with alot of use, the corck wasn't as "grainy feeling" and was very impressed at how the rod fit in my hand (It was raining hard that day so it was a great test) Anyways the Whistler deals are outstanding and if I had some extra cash I know I would be contacting Whistler for a evotec reel for my 5wt as I have heard alot of good things about this reel. -

Call Reiplies cause I will have to agree the officals where just absoultly horrible last night. -
Kyle, really like your ties, keep it up they look great. Once I find my battery charger for my camera and charge up my battery I will take some photo's of the flies I have tied over the last two months (and there are alot of them) and post them for people to see. Nothing special with my ties these are just flies that I use all the time on the bow.

I don't think anything will happen, it states it pretty clear that they want to return focus to agricultre but it says diversing things are not always a bad thing. The artical goes on and tells how WSS has been good for them. All I can see is good things for WSS, what I think they were talking about was not diversiving anymore but putting a focus back into Agricultre, and it was the loss of that focus which caused the dismissal of the two board members.

Rick you gotta remeber when a team runs the ball alot they are most likely setting up the play-action plays, this is what manning was doing, the saints just played very disapline football and alot in zone coverage which will always defeate the play action plays. When running a man to man defense play actions are designed to bring players premature cause they are thinking of loss yards then little throws to slanting, button hooks, curls, etc.... The wide recivers are usally used as your secondary pass when the defensive team doesn't bite cause then its man on man, unless of course you are running a zone three, cover 3 is even better but hey I could go on about this for a long time. Oh and I asked Ron, which as you know is a very offensive coach and he also agreed that it was without a doubt a desperation move, at that point of the game you could tell that the saints where on the roll and the Colts were slowly fading away, and there was more then enough time to get another td, the saints just wanted to make sure they had the lead and could build off it, but hey its just a diffrence in opion between me and you.

I don't go around shopping for deals on my ting material as I do all my shop at one store, but I understand where some people are coming from, expically if they do not have alot of money and have a family to feed. I am kind of confused though, you bring to the table the question "Why are Fly Tiers So Cheep" where is your information to support this statement, or is it just our own opion, if its your own opion then I'll leave it at that. I know a few tiers that are not cheep and they only buy what they use, like myself. Now there are times I lose a package of something (If you have ever seen my ting bench you would understand) and go out and buy a new one only to find the missing package. There are also times when I will buy a new type of material to see what I can tie with it. I also know alot of tiers out there that will donate any old material to kids classes or to people that can not afford to buy materials (I know I have had some of my friends give me supplies that they where not using anymore) As I see it I do not tell people how to spend their money and I don't expect people to tell me how to spend my money. Don't get me wrong if I know something is better priced somewhere else I will mentioned it, bbut if they go there then they go there if not then who really cares. I did notice you mention about buying online vs buying from a shop, now I buying everything from my local shop and I have bought somethings online and I really don;t see what it matters where someone gets something, once again its none of my business where someone buys something. Now I don't belive in this but I can see some people thinking along these lines, What has the local shop done for me other then sell me something and take my money. That could be how some people view things and truth to tell what has the local shops done for them to get their business. The shop I shop at has from day one been extremly friendly to me, helpped me out when I needed something and has gone out of their way to help me out with a few things, this is why I spend thousands of my hard earned money there

Here is my take on the game. It looked like to me that the Saints just wanted it more then the colts did, plain and simple. Did I think the Saints would win, nope I was certain that the Colts would win, but that is the thing that I like about the Superbowel, it is a 1 game, winner takes all. I think the game could of gone anyway, it is amazing how a team rwegardless to what sport they are playing can get on a roll when things are going good (during the game) and how another team that should win can get conplaceive and lose. I personally didn't find anything really exciting about the superbowel, its not like there was brilliant play calling, alot of "Here we go, lets hope we can get this" Lets really look at it, any time a team does a onside kick it is a desperation play, no team that is not desperate for the win will do a onside kick, and that is fact. Now don't get me wrong I am not saying the Saint were desprate at that momment but it was a chance play or as I like to call it, close your eyes and hope you get it back. The conversion is also another one of these plays that are only done when you are down and you need to do anything to get the lead and give your team the boost that they need. In the end the team that wanted it more got the win, and good job to the Saints they had a fantasic year and a fantasic playoff run and for all their hard work they walked away with the Superbowel, oh by the way I still don't think Bree's is anything spectacular, I think he is a average qb with a fantasic team surrounding him.

It could be lots of things we are not in the dressing room every time he is, maybe he didn't like the players, maybe he hated the coach or the front office staff, maybe he wants to go to a team that is a top contender for a stanely cup, could be alot of reason to leave, we will never know the truth until he tells us why. -

Actually for the last three years I have subscribed to the NHL ticket and get the flames package on Pay for veiw so I watch alot more hockey then you might think. I might not understand all the fine little details surrounding hockey but I understand the game enough. All I have to say is that to turn down 100 million over ten years there has to be a reason and I highly doubt it has anything to do with wanting more money, just think of it this way he goes to a team that wins a stanely cup how much money you think he will get in indorsements, I bet you alot more money then he would get by playing in any of the other leagues out there. Oh and for the record when you score as much as ovekin you don't need to stop shots (Never knew a scoring forward (not a defensive forward) to be resonsable for stoping pucks isn;t that the job of defense men?) cause if you do and get hurt those goals are no good for the team as the player is now riding the pine. Also when Detroit was winning their cups you think that it was won just by yzerman? It was a whole team effort even from the russian players, to think anything diffrent is crazy. Lets look at Patric Roy when he left montreal, he was already a very successful goile but he had problems with the coach and didn't want to be there anymore, so he signed a deal with the avs and won another couple of cups there. Lets also look at eric lindros when he came into the league, refused to play for qubec cause they were not a contendor and screwed himself over as the next year they moved to Colorado and won a cup. Since I have been watching hockey since 88 (Yeeep like I said since 1988) I have seen many high end players leave teams to go to other teams for less money, it happens all the time, look at how many teams brett hull played through the course of his carrer. My point in the end is it doesn;t matter where a player comes from money talks and bullshit walks espically in professional sports regardless to what sport it is -

You forget with the movie that you qutoed that in the end he did take one for the team, and to compare real life to the movies is just making your argument look even worst, I bet like many people have said already he didn't want to play for the team or he had issuses with the team, can I say this 100% nope but I bet my pay cheaque it is close to what we all think, not including you. -

I guess when Sakic signed with colorado for 91 million that had nothing to do with money. How about Ignlia's contract I also guess that has nothing to do with money either. How about crosby's contract, or how about yzerman, or even lacavilier, or st. lous, what about luango, and the list goes on with high paied players from canada. I would like to see crosby block a shot, if he did he would probably hit the ground and cry like he was shot, he's a good finesse player but he's not tuff at all. To say the only reason a russian player plays is for stats and money is probably the most rediculious thing I have ever heard of. Can you say honestly you know the exact reason WHY kov didn't resign with Atlanta, nope and to make assumptions on to why just makes you look like a idoit. -

Here is how I see things. If you like a rod then you like the rod regardless to who the manufacture of the rod is, if that is what you want then don;t let anyone tell you diffrent. For the first 4 years that I started fly fishing all I could afford was a TFO and truth be told I loved the rod (still have it and I highly doubt I will EVER get ride of it) then I had a chance to try a couple of diffrent manufactures and finally found a rod that had the same type of action as my TFO the biggest diffrent was the weight of the rod and it had better components. So since then I have switched over to that manufacture and have never looked back at TFO. Like a couple of people have said before go try out a couple of rods and see WHAT YOU LIKE and not what the HYPE is, hence why when people are close to me I never have a problem trying out my rods to see if it is something that they would enjoy instead of spending the money for something they just might not like.

I agree with theboy, I have seen it many times in sport where one player doesn't do too well with one team and then goes to another team and explodes. There could be many reasons for this, could it be problems with the other players? Maybe his playing style did not fit the rest of the team, maybe the caoching system didn't fit him (coaching system to me means the way the coaches interact with the players) Maybe he just did not like the city in general and wanted to go somewhere else. What I am getting at is there could be many reason why a player might play better somewhere else then where they are currently, we can only speculate what we think and we could very well be wrong in what we think. Remeber at the end of the day any professional athelte is playing cause they love the game, but it is also a business for them and what business doesn't want to make money? -

Watching the early morning news this morning and they are all saying that kov is a rent a player, and most likely the devils will not be resigning him as he is a free agent at the end of the year. -

I personally think that the trades where a message to the rest of the team, if your not going to produce then your gone regardless to who you are. With Dion we were already very deep in Defencemen and what we need is more goal scores for Iggy and we got two players that are 20+ goal scores. Even though I liked dion, something had to change with the flames cause what they currently had wasn't getting it done. Don't know if it is true or not but on the raido this morning on my way to work I heardf they were saying a press conference is going to be announced for sometime today. Olie hasn't done much for us either and we need something to light a fire under the players butt. I think you might see conray done at the end of the year also. I trust sutter cause before sutter we could not even get into the playoffs (who remebers the 90's) now we are which is good, but we need to get pass the first round, but as I see it better to make it and be done in the first round then not make it at all. I don't think the trades are done, only time will tell.
