  1. i do work for them and they're good to work for the product we install is expensive and an upgrade from the standard but it performs better and solves issues and they are willing to fork out the extra cash to deliver a better product i think that says something for them.
  2. $300 on 20 thanks
  3. your both a couple of cool buggers
  4. Yes it was ridiculos how many fish we hooked up with it was even more stupid how many we lost after a 5 second fight it was even MORE stupid how many strikes we missed. I think the best fish of the night were the ones we never even managed to land. One that jumped three times sideways two feet until he managed to cross the streams "AAHHH DON'T CROSS THE STREAMS!!!"(snap) or the one that came out of the water as he SLAMED my indicator as i was taking a picture of Ricks fish. Or the monster that that leaped form the water and we in unison "WOOOOWA!" and then the duck as my rig comes flying back to the boat. But the absolute best part was listening to Texas as he comes unbottoned for the 20th time in a row "DAGMANIT!" I'll post pics tonight as soon as i figure out how but i don't have many as Rick said we didn't stop long to fiddle with cameras.

  9. hey you should post some pic of giant chaparral rainbows and maybe someone will bid on the chaparral trip in the stream watch auction.
  10. I'll put up $300.00 for the jet boat trip.
  11. you can always get your reel spooled the other way so you reel with your left. Casting right reeling right is an american thing, true canadians cast right reel left.
  12. $100.00 to the fly tying with Silver Doctor
  13. I twisted in some red flash and use black red dubbing and had some luck with it at bullshead on the weekend
  14. The furled leaders are great i haven't had a lot of time to use them but here is what i can say so far they turn over great! especially when using heavy rigs. Also i used them tonight on my community lake and they were turning over 15 feet of leader like nothing. One feature that is wicked is the swivels tied into the end. I cant wait to try them on the dry next week hopefully as things warm up! should start seeing some snouts in the evenings. also cant wait to use the nymph rig with the built in indi on some small streams i know that have some of the spookiest trout I've ever had the pleasure to belly crawl to. I'll post more as i use them thank to rick for letting me try em and thanks to Mike they work awesome.
  15. i am lovein' this one thanks guys !! fun tie.
  16. I love rainbows they are the ultimaate for me my favorites are the 16" to 19" class they seem to be the most bad ass cutting running jumping no strategy for evading capture just balls out panic.
  17. Now THAT! was fgnfunny Rick!!!
  18. Save being cuffed and whiped for you up coming show Bob.
  19. Good point Uber.
  20. I'll take a look at it this weekend and post.
  21. I used to fish with a long leader in 4 ft water 7,8,9 feet because that was how i was taught. However i had the opportunity to fish with a more experienced fisherman and i happened to notice as we fished the same water his indi was set to a much shorter leader than mine. He said that he found you saw far more takes when you were just ticking the bottom or even just above than dragging. So i made the switch and i found that i hooked up far more than the other method however i did find it took alot more attention and work #1 the indicator has to be adjusted alot more often to maintain this "ticking depth" as variations of one to two feet can throw it off #2 you need to watch your indi like a hawk and set on what are usually very small movements and very fast dips of the indi #3 you need to be quick. I'm not saying any method is wrong or right because each has been proven i'm just sharing whats worked well for me. (that said i don't ever catch fish anyways.)
  22. GROAN!
  23. there is what the media say and there is what the educated say. The economy is as bad as she's going to get but it is going to stay the same for a while till they sort *hit out and then she's going to turn and re-grow. Interest rates are at the lowest they have ever been and we can expect them to not go up for a year and if they double we are still looking at the lowest rates ever. Now is the time to borrow cheap money and make investments, buy houses and turn expensive debt into the cheapest debt we have ever had the opportunity to finance. Soon all the spectators are going to quit listening to the media and start looking to the facts and we are going to see people start to spend and jobs return. I think your going to see more people fishing this year and booking guides with the rat race we were all running during the boom i think this slow down brings us into more normal work hrs. and more time to focus on family and the hobbies we love.
  24. perfect! now that is some good research!
