  2. Here are all the rods that are "Made in the USA" Thomas & Thomas - Greenfield, Mass. Scott - Montrose, Colorado Winston - Twin Bridges, Montana St. Croix - Park Falls, Wisconsin And of course Sage, to which I've already mentioned... P
  3. Contact Colin Dunn (CDone on the board), should be able to do that for you! P
  4. Rick, Deb want's this one so I'll have to increase my donation! I'd rather try for the rod again, but she wears the pants in this relationship (you know what that's all about, eh! LoL). The only caveat is that you gotta shave the "soul patch" (cuz you gotta have "soul" to sport one of those, and you know you ain't got none of that! LoL ) Cheers, P
  5. Yeah CBC Marketplace did spot on this a few seasons ago (http://www.cbc.ca/marketplace/product_of_canada_eh/) Also, some of you industry types might be able to substantiate this, but I hear we export most of our oil (and steel) and then buy it back from asia and the mid east (excluding the whole issue of refining)... P
  6. Hey Zegrave, really nice "time pieces"! I have a 1956 Rolex (with original box) and a 2005 Omega Sea Monster (Titanium) in my collection thus far! Dream watch is a original Rolex Prince (I'd settle for one of the new reissues, though)... Love the Zenith, one of the best chronograph movements ever made! Cheer P
  7. Yeah it's on the list! Thanks! P
  8. Taco, Sell it in Montana! At least that was the deal a few years ago when the US was short diesel vehicles and you could actually make $ on selling a used diesel vehicle down there... Not sure if it is the same situation these days... But as I'm sure you (and everyone else) is/are well aware - vehicles are a "depreciating" asset!! P
  9. Remember the tax incentive for home improvement is "subject" to Parliament approval (small print on all the TV ads!)! In other words - you might not get the tax break at this point in time if the bill doesn't pass!! P
  10. Hey Don, Didn't you post information in a thread related to this a while ago, something that included info on the type of poison they were going to use?! Did that contain the appropriate contact info?! I kind of remember something to this effect, but not sure of the details... P
  11. redirected
  12. Stainless steel, my man (better insulation & longevity)!! Plus Calgary (not sure about Deathbridge) (supposedly) "recycles" plastic!! I think that plastic "to go cups" are # 6 recyclables?! P
  13. Why? P
  14. Dank u!
  15. Yeah more people just need to use them! P
  16. I just heard the interview on CBC and it seems they (the offenders) edited out the parts where they assaulted the officers (which was caught on the cc cameras!)! Dorks!! P
  17. Rick as a suggestion one really simple thing you can do to actually help the environment is to use a reusable mug... There are those darn rose coloured glasses again... P
  18. At the same time parks has launch a whole new marketing program to get more (new) visitors into the park(s)... *edit* Seems a little idiotic... We want more people to come, but most can't afford to even get into the parks (especially seniors who's daily rate is ~ $17 per day - for 2)!! Well that's the entire crux of the problem now isnt it... More people = increased threats to native speicies and genetic diversity!!
  19. The old man has something here... Better then Timmy Ho's fo sho!! P
  20. Same same!! $2 at timmy ho's or $2 for a SB's (drip coffee), less in your own mug - really not that much difference in cost (except for taste even at that there is better tasting coffee out there then even Starbuck's actually - Roastery, Planet, etc.). P
  21. I refuse all the time, but yes seems unfair, eh... P
  22. Thanks Jack & Dustin! P
