  1. Brad, my point is that scenarios such as the character "Dexter" more specifically, the flashbacks of of his childhood (as well as Charles Manson, and many others) are in fact a reality (my G/F is a psychologist and has a few clients that are sociopaths) and all have a history of animal abuse when they are children... Like you stated... P
  2. Ever watch "Dexter".... Nuff said!! P
  3. I think you got it!! http://www.lostguidetours.com/main.html
  4. Maybe in the Highwood... At or above treeline... Pickle Jar?! Maybe LOH, Loomis or Burns?! P
  5. Any "True" outdoors person, (read, non-RVing or gorbie type) knows the score!! P P.S. Steve, I thought I was making a fashion statement!!
  6. Or check out the Bow River Reports thread! P
  7. Lornce, I have tried this too, but it can be dicey if the leak is quite high up and that's a lot of water to try and hold up!! Spraying rubbing COOH works really well as the youtube vid suggests. Sealing the inside of the wader is the way to go unless you want your waders to show a bit of character... P
  8. Andy I'm trying to somewhat environmental, not cheap!! Sheesh! P
  9. Thanks Terry, but my pref would be not to buy another plastic container and thought it might just come in a small bag or something... Though their Blue Ribbon Powder states on the label that it's silica?! P
  10. Not the acutal beads of silica gel (yeah can get that from old electronics)... The powder! Or is the powder just ground up beads?! If so, I could always use a mortar and pestle and make my own... P
  11. I'm getting down to just the silica pellets and wanted to refill... Anybody know if you can buy the powder only?! Peter
  12. Marc, yeah might be the upgrade... Since it started around that time. I'm not a member of any other forums, so can't try that. I'll run a the disk utility. I have Firefox, but don't use it all that often. If it comes to it, I'll try creating another account, but hopefully it won't come to that. Thanks for your help. Cheers, P
  13. Marc, Safari - as I mentioned no problems using it with my Mac book... P
  14. Nope intermittently with logging off in between!! P
  15. Anyone know what insect this is?! Florescent Green stone fly?! P
  16. That is what used to happen... Still happens with my Mac Book and my Dell at the office?! I didn't change any settings as far as I can remember... P
  17. You could probably do it as a day trip when the days are longer (beginning/mid July) with a very early start. FYI, random camping is not allowed in PLPP... P QUOTE (Suntoucher @ Aug 9 2009, 08:18 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Thanks for the report. I was contemplating on making that hike a good day trip, sounds like it will be an overnighter.
  18. <Sorry, wrong thread... Mods, please redirect to "Non-fishing related, please>
  19. Started happening a few weeks ago... After about 5 minutes on this site I automatically get kicked off without warning... I'm on an iMac, but my Macbook laptop doesn't have this issue... Anyone got any advice/suggestions?! Peter
  20. Yup, Colin (CDone) is your man!! P
  21. Steve... And you were giving me fashion advise... Holy back to the '80's Becca!! P
  22. Steve, It's only 7 km, but it took us 5 1/2 hours in with full packs (as I mentioned, there is no trail and that burnt out slope has a ton of logs to climb over), with day packs probably closer to 4 hrs. This trip IS NOT for the inexperienced!! If you do not have route finding skills you will get lost! P

  24. When all the guide books state "No Trail" they mean it (this time)!! An epic trip. Fishing was great with many, many good sized cutties to hand both days! I won't give specific #'s but trust me, if you make the effort you will be rewarded!! Enjoy, Peter , , , , ,
  25. Well it used to be a total dive with AWESOME food and super friendly owners!! Yes it is open but no longer a dive...
