  4. Yeah if your pati's only lasted a year I'd talk to Patagonia as I had some stitching come apart on some river walkers a few years ago ( a year and a half old) and they gave me a full refund as they did not have my size available for exchange!! P
  5. Double ouch!! P
  6. Deb and I were in BC on a canoe trip north of Nelson a few weeks ago (neither of us have been to that area before). We had a chance to visit our favorite coffee roaster - Oso Negro (we buy their coffee here in Calgary)... Anyway they have an amazing cafe with an even more amazing patio. Here are some examples of the awesome iron work they have displayed around their patio... P
  7. Oh that Jackie! She's a firecracker!! LoL P
  8. Thanks to Rocky Mountain Outfitter in Kalispell for giving us a refund!! Great customer service! If you travel there buy somthing from them!! P
  9. Remember, it's on leash within a meter of any pathway in and around any green space (and even within a designated off leash area)!!
  10. If anyone will traveling to Kalispell in the next little while, I/we need a favor?! We bought some backpacking boots for Deb from a shop down there and in only 4 trips (and after trying numourous combos of sock, footbeds and lacing systems) they just don't fit (toe bash and major blisters)... Anyway the guy guaranteed the fit so he will let us return them. My bro was going to head down, but now he is not... The caveat is that the shop is not open on Sunday (nor holidays) so you would have to go there during the week or on Saturday before 6 PM... If anyone can help us out, we can provide some gas money, beer money or whatever... Let me know?! Thanks, Peter
  11. Check out the Hook and hackle club, as well as most of the shops offer classes.

  19. So is a treble hook (3 points on a common shaft) considered a single hook in BC?! Or do all trebles need to be removed and replaced with one single?! P
  20. Don, Jim did bring that up on Saturday and mentioned that if we did catch a (legal sized) Rainbow that he would "encourage" us to keep it (one guy caught one just shy of legal size)!! He also mentioned that there is the possibility that Rainbows could/will be added to the program in the near future (for Willow/Johnson creeks)!! P
  21. Short of making it myself, anyone know where I can buy Salmon Jerky in Calgary?! TIA P
