The equipment they use for a 10 day trip (with the mileage they covered) is not the best choice... Tents seemed ok (donated by the sponsors), but the other gear, there are better - lighter, more compact, etc.)... A guitar?! only one guy had a set of hiking poles! And food (other then the freeze dried stuff) was heavy/bulky... Clothing they used (not the 2 younger guys, from what I remember) but the hippy guy was horrible (jeans!! button up shirt, hoodies - sheesh!) What they used obviously worked, but it could have been way more "efficient".
