Pentax digital lenses if you can afford them, damn local optometrist wants $375 a lens for progressives, otherwise any good digital lens. I prefer a bronze color lens, really helps in flat light.

I just use a denim bag I made out of the leg from an old pair of Wranglers, Jim Stelfox's idea actually. If you keep it wet it will keep fish fresh for 7-8 hrs. Much easier to deal with than a wicker creel but does tend to ruin the Orvis Look if that what you're goin' for.

Other than from abject stupidity ie; truck doors, bouncin' spare tires and or loading a graphite rod 90 past degrees, the only rods I have ever snapped whilst fishin' were the cheaper off shore rods. By cheap I mean under $300. They better have a good replacement warranty or they're sales life would be short.
