But I wouldn't call a bucket item but I have caught a damned rare tiger back a few yrs ago.
A wild stream caught tiger trout in a stream that supposedly has no brown trout in the upper reaches.
I do wish they would figure out what going on with Heninger Reservoir and put some in there but it looks like I may have to hit Reesor the next time I do a Cypress trip. Thanks for posting
5th season on a pair G3 Guides, right around 300 days and roughly 3500 km. in them. They need to be replaced, If I was 10 yrs younger I'd buy a set of those Patagonia/Danners but I ain't so it'll be the new G3 Guides
Apparently no one else gives a *hit but thanks for postin' that. Sorry to see nothin' about stillwaters in the southern part of the province but then it would be obvious how few trout ponds we have down here.
I deactivated my account over on the dipshit board so I'll comment here.
They need to keep their list of stocked waterbodies updated. There are at least one that hasn't received a stocking of fish since 2014
There is 2 trappers cabins on the main stem of the Liv. Don't know the exact rules but owners of registered traplines have the right to maintain a cabin on crown land.
There is a chunk of private holding right in that area owned by the Rocking P,. If you look west of the road there is a ranch yard off in the trees. The pissed off guy married into the Blades family who own the Rockin' P. Apparently he got a tad irritated at entitled random campers and OHV riders that summer.
About 5 yrs ago I picked up on clearance a DT Hardy Marksman 4wt line that I fish and abuse a lot. I finally reversed it on the reel last yr and don't expect I'll need to replace the line until 2020. Quality line, I wouldn't hesitant to buy another Hardy line.
Two unwritten backcountry traffic courtesy rules.
The big heavies always have the right of way going in or out and if two vehicles are about the same the vehicle going uphill or has a sharp drop off to the passenger side of the vehicle has the right of way
I never caught a obvious 'bow cross above the falls and I've fished it plenty over the last 50 yrs but who knows, the old stocking reports were spotty as best so it's down to DNA testing. The latest maps that I've looked at has from the falls up marked as Critical Habitat.
