troutlover Posted June 10, 2016 Posted June 10, 2016 It only takes a couple minutes and if you are like me I had to Google what ward I'm in and it took me directly to a link to contact my councilor. PLEASE send them a quick note asking them to support the River Access strategy on Monday. This is your chance to make the river better. Quote

jdangler Posted June 10, 2016 Posted June 10, 2016 I don't live in Calgary, but know a guy that works with a councillor & have asked him to pass on my thoughts Quote
keet Posted June 10, 2016 Posted June 10, 2016 For some reason the link is not posting but go to www.calgary.ca/citycouncil/pages/ward-communities,aspx?redirect=/councilors/ and find your community and click link to find your councilor. Or call 403-268-2430 Quote

jpinkster Posted June 10, 2016 Posted June 10, 2016 Yay, more emails! Great to hear from a bunch of you in a work capacity. Here is a link to the Global story. My boss almost sounds like he knows what he's talking about! http://globalnews.ca/news/2753024/city-to-debate-adding-additional-access-points-to-calgary-rivers/ Quote

fishinglibin Posted June 11, 2016 Posted June 11, 2016 Who do you send a note to if you live outside of Calgary? Nenshi? Quote
Roast Posted June 11, 2016 Posted June 11, 2016 Who do you send a note to if you live outside of Calgary? Nenshi? I would just pick a councillor and express that you are someone from out of town that wants more launches for fishing access. A word about the businesses you support while in town to fish will help drive the point across that river access helps everyone. 2 Quote
