Hi all...Just wondering if anybody has seen the new "Trout Bum 4 Jurassik Lake''...It was to be released in April...Does anyone have any info on were to buy it??..I looked on the Loop website and didnt see it... Thanx...Jeff..

Diggler1 and I walked the Whole reservoir today in search of open water...To no avail...No water was found...Only ICE...The ice is lookin a fair bit rotten close to the shores along with the smaller shallow bays.. perhaps the ice farther out on the lake is in better condition??. I was not about to find out...So, I'm not really sure how safe it will be to Ice fish....Im thinkin it wont be to long and we shall be wetting our lines...I took some pics... Cheers...Jeff..

Myth and I were thinkin to check with F&W to see if it would be OK to go drill a billion holes and maybe speed things up...But the ice along the shore lines is a little to sketchy, and when I was there the ice was cracking like mad!!!....might go check on the ice again today....If not today, Monday....Nice to see you joined the forum Chris, Welcome... I cant freakin wait for open water....Its always shoulder to shoulder out there in the spring till all the ice is all off....Sometimes people will even follow you around when your gettin into fish...I get a kick out of it ...LOL... Cheers...Jeff..

If you use a loop connector at the end of your fly line, it will slide threw nice as well... Cheers...Jeff..

Took a drive out to B.H. Yesterday to check out the ice...There has been a couple small open areas along the shallow shore lines, which are now froze over once again (no suprise)...However, there were no open spots at all last year at this time, and people were driving trucks on the ice for the 1st week of April...So far its lookin better than last year...Lets hope for wind, warmth and sunshine!!... The fishin was picken up pretty good on Thursday..Hope your booobooo was not to bad???...And you are o.k??....I bet it was deer related, or you found a pub on the way home with with the boys...lol...Had 3 incidents with deer in the past 2 years...Damn things are gettin outta controll!! I carry about 4...But usually make up a box prior for the water I'm going to fish...That way I'm not searching through Boxes and my Vest while on the water.... Cheers...Jeff..
