-
thanks. i will try using a bobbin for my floss on my next project and see how that works.

nope not looking for white fish, just curious as to how each fish seems to like different areas and why. i really dont care what i catch. i'm just happy to have a wet line.
-
so would there be more whiteys above the outlet or way, way farther down stream as opposed to at fishcreek? interesting information

nipples is almost as fun to say as boobies

but the rainbow and browns rose? am i reading that correctly? i'm not a science geek. so does that mean the bows and browns like sewage? or the whites are smarter and get the hell out of dodge any corelation to sewage output, more or less than in previous years?

oh my GOD, my ears are bleeding. what was THAT anyway? trumpets should be for big band, brass/swing and jazz. NOT star wars. or at least not that version was that a miss america wannabe pagent circa 1982? what is with the duck walk/dance? all she can do is play the chorus. AAHHHHHH. my ear drums... the empire does not keep you busy enough! i'll have to mention that to Mike M. -
so much for an intelectual conversation at least no one has mentioned nipples in the last few posts

Great article AL. excellent information and mirrored a conversation i had today with another angler. funny too

for mono i have used fenwick. only a few breakage problems when it started to get old and time to change tippet. now i have switched over to Rio and i have used the Climax when borrowed from someone else. both worked fine. i have not yet had a problem of breakage with rio. a little pricey but since i havent had any problems, i don't mind

the trout building/hatchery thing - never bothered to get the name of it is at the weir on the west side of the river. to access it you have to park at the park where the demonstration wetlands are. i think the name of the park is pearce something or other. if you are south on deerfoot, take the 17th ave turn off, head west. 1st set of lights, turn right, go to the end of the road. as for the bird sancutary, which is south of the weir and around the corner a ways, if you stay on the main part of the Bow and dont wander up any side channels, you will be fine. the Bow is open, the tributaries are not. if you do end up in there, some one will yell at you.

definately pretty and shiny. i like shiny. i really like the bead and the halo in an irridescent krystal flash would work. i think

here's a really smart sounding amature answer... i don't know. now then for the clarification... i still have the first 2 that i purchased. since i a little on the cheap side and didnt know what i was doing, i'm going to take a stab in the dark and say they are both stainless. i have never had any problems with threads being chewed. i have also recently accuired 2 older bobbins. i want to say they are brass. i dont have them in front of me at the moment. call it 40years old. is it possible they are brass? i have used this one on my most recent project and liked it better than the newer SS model. i guess i could go take a picture. as far as i know, i have not used a ceramic. could anyone give me a little more info as to the specific differences between the 2? or why one would use A over B and in what situation. this is interesting. i have also not used a bobbin for floss or for wire. any school of thought to this ?

Fish must not be removed from, or disturbed in, any facility or structure designed to capture, hold or facilitate the passage of fish. Fishing is prohibited by any method within 25 yards (22.86 m) of the lower entrance of any fishway, canal, obstacle or leap. Weirs and dams are considered obstacles. NOTE: Fishways, fish ladders, impoundment nets, fish traps and other similar structures are set up to assist in the management or the study of fisheries, or to allow the passage of fish. http://www.albertaoutdoorsmen.ca/fishingregs/index.html

maybe it is the ability to use both sides of your brain equally. or jack of all trades, master of nothing. mediocer at everything on the list

try the little channel between the bank and the island on the park/fish hatchery side. i havent fished it this year but last year there were a few holding in the trough and then around the bend there is a deeper pool with a shopping cart at the bottom. watch for the cart but there were some holding behind it. the other suggestion - is check the reg on the weir. i think it is no fishing within 25 meters of a man made water obstruction.

yeah, thought about that as i was typing. he is my mirror male personna so yes he is strange too. there were a few too many bones, kinda mushy. not the best, sorta tasted like dirt. what can i say. suckers, the world is full of 'em

not unless the goalie gets bored and looks the other way while waiting for the puck to slowly drift down the ice.

you aren't missing anything. my room mate couldn't make himself see her going the other way either. i'm a little messed up. i wonder if i can make her do the splits? hawkeye - interesting response. got me thinking. i tried covering up one eye then the other. she didn't change directions. not until i concentrated, then she went the other way. EDIT: nope, no splits

where's arthur when you need him
-
lol. rickr - 1/2 of the midwestern states ice fishes. oh wait. you're right, that is about 30 people... ok that was my trash talk. come ice fishing, you'd fit right in. it's not THAT cold
