Ive never had a real tree for christmas once my sister always does. They smell nicer, but dont look near as good as the fakes lol! Not only is my tree fake, its white I have no control where my wife is concerned.

As peaceful as angling is, it sure is dangerous on the other hand. Its always shocking to hear this kind of news, but when you sit and thick about it. drowning, animal attacks, injury, exposure. So much can go so wrong in such a little amount of time, one wrong step Nice work to by buddy who went in after him yeah we all know that could've went wrong for you as well, but at the time, you dont think about it, you just go man!! You're a good person. I may have told this story before but, I saw two older/overweight looking fellas (I'm 47 so older starts to blend together) wading on the south side of the river down by Jensens. As we went by in buddies boat, one of them fell in, he was up to his arm pits and was struggling, so was his buddy, to get him out. Buddy was turning the boat and i was getting ready to jump in when they managed to scramble up onto the shore. That got real tense, real quick, one wrong step. These guys where old enough and big enough that if they both ended up in the water, it would've been really bad.

my corkers are way worse than those. not only did the boots separate from the sole , but the hiking and felt treds both broke within a year of use. I dont have treds on my boots. They basically just cover the end of my waders!

I do trim the belly of the flies. You need a gap between the hook point and the material or the fish wont get hooked

I used them for Bass a few weeks ago, worked awesome. The small ones are really small, size of a nickel ish. Prolly work on the Bow or for pike or whatever. I just like to tie them. Its been awhile since I spun some deer hair and They look awesome on the water as well, killer movement with the tail that brown one I call the rat could def be trimmed down more to look a lot tighter, its the size of a golf ball lol!!

Thanks man To be honest, Ive never ordered anything online lol I like to see and handle what I'm buying. Everyone does it different though I always just drive to the shop (fish tales) and buy what I need. With all the stores in Calgary, you can pretty much find everything. Same thing with flies, I cant even remember the last time I bought a fly in the store and used it. I tie everything

Got this Glenn Zinkus pattern out of a magazine this week. Not exact, but pretty close. Im happy with the tie. I made the body a little fatter than the original. That way you also get that stoney look. Double dip yo!!!
