  1. A you tube search will keep you in days worth of video
  2. Anyone know of anyone that transfers video to disc that is readable by computer for the purpose of extracting still images for the video footage. We have a client that requires the use of such a service but this is not our area of expertise or knowledge. Any help greatly appreciated.
  3. As long as nothing from a bird is included in the brush all is good
  4. No bird feathers of any kind Max.......this one takes some thought....I know I had fits for awhile for the swap I was in....once you think outside the so called box it's amazing what you can come up with.
  5. Northern Flicker....have these at our feeder all the time.

  7. Gil try using a turkey biot if you want a knotted leg.....longer and easier to work with.
  8. Always thought this guy was awesome.....live he is great.
  9. Let' start the new year with a different type of challenge: a hackled fly with no bird feathers used for hackle. You can use whatever materials you wish or have on hand except for bird hackle. The fly can be nymph, dry, streamer or any other class of fly you care to try and tie.....I participated in a swap like this awhile back and the results were very interesting. Looking forward to seeing some interesting creations. Let's put a due date of Jan. 9 and to enter just post a pic to this thread.
  10. Should transfer the photos to vote on with corresponding letter to the poll post to avoiding bouncing all over the place to vote.
  11. This past year was a mixed bag of good and bad. I didn't fish the Bow or anywhere in the province at all this year but I did manage to catch my first Atlantic salmon; actually would up catching 14 of them; including one at 44 inches; in total in Labrador and on the Rock itself along with some searun browns mixed in. The funny thing is I met a member here that I never had any contact with out on the east coast through a former air force team member. Also officially retired from the air force this year but his was bitter sweet as we laid to rest my father in law, a vet from WWII the day before my retirement. Now I'm building my photography business and trying to expand that a bit more.....fills my new found free time. Hopefully the down turn in the world economy has a minimal effect on all of you and at this time I'd would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a safe and happy New Year
  12. I got you beat on that Birchy

Do a google search for articulated flies and refine the search to tying and it should produce a tutorial or 2
