  1. LMAO too funny. I'm sure glad I officially retired from the forces at the end of October.
  2. That's the idea behind doing this. It will be interesting to see how your pupa does next year... I like the way you approached it, I did a hopper with these same materials but wasn't happy with it.
  3. Interesting Max......you tried this one before?
  4. Would there be enough interest to have another one before Xmas?
  5. I got to do some photo work this weekend so i'll try and fit them in the same session.
  6. sounds interesting Max might have to check one out when I get a chance to........ you should see some of the bully flies i have started on....think they 'll be killers
  7. 2-1 now ....they are basically a slow starting team which sometimes finds them in a deep hole.....they need to learn to be more consistent on defense.
  8. I can't remember the series but next time I see it again I'll write it down. I know the blank would make an ideal high stick rod for my liking.
  9. I came across a rod that felt nice today .....a Grey 13' 7wt. Anyone familiar with Grey rods? Are they from the UK maybe? Never heard of or seen one prior to today.
  10. I can understand that....no problems with that I was basically trying to liven it up a bit is all.
  11. The materials are not that tricky Andy......if something is giving you a problem send me a PM and I'll try to help you out.
  12. Is this challenge that hard or is it lack of interest?
  13. If this is so why did he increase the size of cabinet????? Restraint not be shown in this case.
  14. The best quality in my experience has come from Wapsi/Hook & Hackle, Hareline hasn't been bad either. The stuff I have with the Hook & Hackle label is from Wapsi. Wapsi is know to add distributor names to the Wapsi label. Some craft fur has some similar characteristics to marabou and could be an option depending on the application needed. A product called bird fur could also be used in some cases.
  15. I tied a few flies with this name a couple years back, he had a sample to work from and if memory serves me correctly it was larger than a 24, probably 16-18 had an orange thread butt, olive dubbed body, cdc wing and orange thread head. Sound familar?
  16. Now that has to be powered by 4 political parties for sure.
  17. I thought so......I have a business number but the business has no real connection to fishing or manufacturing of any kind. Would that matter?
  18. Darren, don't you need to be a dealer to purchase from them?
  19. Not might they do work on bulls very well.....I tied some 8-10 inch long ones for a friend over the past several years and he has done well with them.
  20. Scrap in the playground after school kids.........place your bets LOL
  21. Never have this problem with a Mac.....can't use IE with it anyway.......I use Safari as a browser most of the time which is also available for windows
  22. I was curious as to how many of you use tube flies. Of late they have been growing in popularity and some pretty neat patterns are evolving.
  23. Just the end
  24. One of my many versions of boatman patterns. Hook: mustad 3906b sizes 10- 18 Air Bubble: silver holographic ice dub Body: 3-10 strands of peacock herl (depending on hook size) twisted into a rope and reinforced with thread Back: black foam coated with nail hardener--- mine took 3 coats to make nice and glossy Legs: olive-black stretch floss
  25. The original forum had a chat room......not sure if one can be added here but I imagine it could be done.
