I've never been checked even all the foreign countries that I've fished in as well.......come to think of it I've yet to see a CO of any kind anywhere.
To complete catching an Atlantic salmon over 40" on both sides of the Atlantic.... just need to get one on the European side somewhere; got a 44" this past summer on this side
The funny part of the first part of your statement Don is eventually Calgary will be suppling the megsamalls water as it's inevitable that it will be annexed at some point in the future.
In my opinion developers seem to have a free license to do what ever they want....makes the adage "money talks and BS walks" ring to be much to true. If there's a buck in it that's the route taken it seems in almost all cases. These lakes that exist now should be left as is now and not level maintained and if they dry up so be it and a freeze to any of these new lake communities. It's obvious that these lakes are stealing the public resource.
In my early days in the service I was also trained as a machinist but don't have access to the machinery or I could do this job myself.
Max I'm not making flyreels not exactly a small job with all operations that would be involved; I need to have a specialize tool made for my tying bench.
Wondering if there are any machinists in the group. I have a little job that I need to get done but it's to small to take in to a regular shop. If you think you can help let me know.
Considering when this thread was started and how long it has lasted; don't you think these two have gotten more than their share of attention? It seems to be a concesus that they are poor handlers of fish. If they were looking for attention they sure enough got more than their share. Why should we give them more?
The one I saw appeared to be a greenish black; could be the lighting it was in that made it appear this colour....I plan on going back for a closer look this week if i can make the time.
Were these series decent?
For the third challenge it should be interesting; mandatory materials are to be the feathers of 2 different species of bird. After that use anything else that you wish.
Due date: Sun Dec. 14
Interesting ideas there Karl, go for it, knowing what you're capable of I know they'll turn out well.
It seems that there would be enough interest to do another challenge before Xmas; I'll post the mandatory materials within the next day or two.
Hopefully your pics are shot in a RAW format......jpeg's suck for blowups
Try either Vistek or the Camera Store.......here's a tip if using Vistek; when preping your file, process it with the printer profile that you can download from Vistek's website....it'll be for the downtown location
