I got on google to try to find the Bow River episode of Trout TV. I can find many other episodes, but not that one. Any suggestions? I believe one of the members, was the guide for the show. Thx

If I dropped my phone or Ipod in the toilet or out house, it would stay there. For the idea of using rice, I would add oyster sauce and saute for 5 minutes. I have dropped a new set of $500.oo glasses in the Bow and my optician gave me a break. If you catch a fish with nice sunglasses on, they are mine.

I can understand. My truck was broken into and all my flies were stolen, and the goof left my rods,( Thank god), so off to restock. I already have several 2 sided boxes full, and extras in containers. I don't tie yet, but that could be scary. When I see the prices like on Icky, I wonder why tie, but I have a fav streamer I will need to tie as Brent S is no longer tieing, Boo Hoo. Too many flies, but lots of fun buying them. The stores love me.

Thx Tungsten, great tip on the trailering. The govt plate is gone, with the serial #, any idea if the boat may have another # elsewhere like on a car? Hopefully with no plate, registering the boat will not be a problem.I recall it is a welded aluminum. Any more feedback is welcome.

I see a couple of older aluminun jon boats for sale. Aside from leaks or being beaten up to bad, what should my main concerns be, if I was to purchase one? One of them is long and wide enough, with deep walls that I would be comfortable taking it on a lake,(if windy or otherwise), as compared to the smaller lower wall jon. Any input would be appreciated.Thx Paul

On thinking about it, I can believe that. I was almost swamped by a big inboard jet flying out on the main leg of the river from the first launch at Carseland in my jon. He came around a blind spot not knowing if anyone was there. Oddly he thought I was waving at him and waved back, but it was not a wave so to speak.

I saw that once a few years ago. I have also been checked by a CO on a jet ski. The gun on the wet suit gave him away, Ha Ha

I think the rope is now raised a few feet. It is law in the city to have to wear a pfd, but thru that water, it is a must. I considered 1 person w me, likely at the back.
