    Chrome Cutt

Nicely done, Dustin! That's a pig!
  5. OK, I guess, if you're into that kinda thing. But, seriously...
  6. Here's hoping everything goes the best it possibly can from here on out for your boy. Keeping a good thought for y'all!
  7. Monger got it right. 4th & 6th pic in that set are from Rawson Lake. Had a fun day up there with the child bride last weekend. Got this one on the nymph dropper, then lots on dries- sightfishing, casting to rises; lots of fun. Beautiful setting to fish in!
  8. I just frickin' love everything about fly fishing!
  9. Then again, sometimes it really is about the fish...
  10. Some pics taken on recent trips-

    Owls Etc.

Another epic set! All great shots, but I really love the owls! Awesomeness!!!
  12. Not sure if "it fit like a glove" is good or bad??? I mean, it is, after all, a shoe. Realistically, would it not be better if it "fit like a shoe"?
  13. ricketyAdjectiveOf a person: feeble in the joints; tottering. The rickety old man fell in the river twice today. Hell, they done made up a word based entirely upon the Texan's propensity for taking unplanned swims!
  14. Good stuff, Marc. That spot with the old building(s) is very cool.
  15. Nice fish. I must say, though...I do think it's a little show-offish to hire a professional hand model to hold your fish in your pics. Damned 1%ers!
  16. That's exactly what my dear ol' Grandpa used to say all the time. Well, right up until they locked him away & medicated the crap outta him. Good times!
  17. Nice fish! I had no idea browns were classified as fruit. Learn something new everyday.
  18. Just 'cuz I like ya, Tex, I'm gonna let you in on my secret. Fish get conditioned. They are far more aware of our presence than we give them credit for. They learn to time our casts, and don't eat stuff floating by right after we cast our fly (flies) into their feeding lane. I keep 'em confused. "Watch out, everyone. A fisherman just arrived. Here he goes, now. False cast. False cast. False cast. Again..." "I think he actually cast that time; don't eat!" "You sure?" "Nope. Here he goes again. False cast. False cast. False cast. False cast. Again....again...again..." "Damnitall, I'm hungry. Here comes a big juicy hopper, & a stonefly nymph, and a big ol' worm. I'm gettin' 'em before someone else does!!!" "Noooooooooooo!!!!" Easy-peasy, lemon-squeezy!
  19. Yep. When I shake hands with him, I use both hands & one foot, and still feel under-gunned.
