  1. Have the TXS 5/6 on both my 5 and 6 wt as well as the 2/3 on my 3wt. Love this reel!
  2. A great all around line for me is the Rio Gold.
  3. Nicely done!
  4. Mr. Loblaw, In the future, when you catch a nice Bull Trout, please refrain from lying it on the dry rocks as it will remove it slime coat and it could subject it to infection. Other than that, wicked Bully!
  5. I haven't posted much for pics and such lately. Likely because I haven't had much luck fishing! My landing rate, until a recent trip to the Liv was 0 for everything. Getting a fair bit frustrated, until I managed to land a wicked nice brown trout last night on the Bow! Here's some pics from the last little while. Buddy with a Livingstone Cutty Hike to the river Livingstone Cutt Another Cutt Underwater release Bow River Caddis Why I love Fly Fishing Just farting around with the camera. Thought it would make a cool B&W picture Pig of a Brown I hauled in last night on a sz 16 ECH. What a way to end a skunk! During my last trip to the Livingstone, I had a big ol' bully dart out from under the rock I was standing on and absolutely smashed the 8" cutty I had on an Adams. Actually netted the brute, with the cutty still in its mouth! Too bad he spit out the fish and leaped out of the net to safety. lol THAT was going to make a hell of a pic!
  6. Dr. Marvin Seizemore, a professor at Texas A&M, recently invented a bra that prevented women's breasts from giggling while walking, bouncing around while jogging and even prevented their nipples from poking through the fabric on cold days. During the news conference to announce his new invention, a large group of men dragged Dr. Seizemore outside and beat the :$*%&: out of him.
  7. Wicked! Nice fish and even better pics! Well done and thanks for sharing.
  8. I know. I was wondering if they were bumping the playground zones up to 7:30 as well.
  9. Does that include the Playground Zones too?
  10. Hope you're having a good one jackass!

  12. that would be cool to watch.

  18. I personally have a 5wt 8'6" TFO Signature Series 4pc for chucking dries on the Bow and absolutely love it. The guys over at Fish Tales HIGHLY recommended it for that purpose. A couple of them even use it for their Bow River dry fly rod. I believe you can pick up the 4pc for about $220.00 I've tried chucking dries with my SAGE Launch, which is a 9'0" 6wt, but it just doesn't have the same feel as my 5wt does. I use the SAGE for nymphing primarily and then bring the TFO for dries when I start to see the snouts popping up. Saves time in changing all the gear over. I have also used my 7'6" 3wt TFO Signature Series on the Bow, before I got the SAGE, and liked it too, but it is better suited for the smaller mountain streams, which is what I use it for. Last couple of fish I hooked into with the 5wt would have blown up the 3wt....lol
  19. Just so you know, I'm going to hold you to that.....
  20. I thought it was never fry bacon with your pants off...... sorry for the hijack.....
  21. Wicked! What was the name of that crick again? I didn't catch it......
  22. I have webby from last week and benbear this week. However, benbear did contact me some time ago to let me know that he was going to be on holidays, so we will make up our match in August when he's back, and when my wife is gone on holidays with the kidlets. So, I guess due to two bye weeks back to back, I am only down one week with Webby.
  23. Round Up will work. It kills everything that's green. My brother in law accidentally killed his wife's garden while getting rid of some grass.
