  1. Thats awesome Y B and N are my favorite.
  2. Oh I see. Opps.
  3. My main complaint with all underwater cameras is the difficulty to actually see what your taking a picture of. The LCDs are mostly useless and a viewfinder is hard to use with a mask on. Maybe they have improved on this recently?
  4. Agreed, that was a strange locking of the topic. Also from an administrator I have never seen before. If thats who fish and wild life allow to volunteer we have some serious problems.
  5. I just rinse it off with freshwater after wards and open and close the lens cover with water running. Mines been used in saltwater many times over the last 5 years.
  6. I bought the first olympus underwater camera and still have it and it works great still, Its been dropped of second story balconies and is still water proof. Ive used it for lots of saltwater snorkeling as well. When I upgrade ill stick with olympus.
  7. I have been finshing lots of dries on the bow as is my preference for most fly fishing. I haven't found my tippet size to matter to much fly size though does matter alot, I catch most on a fly smaller then I would think would work.
  8. If your looking to toss dries and some nymphing I would look at the rio trout LT i got on and so far love it on my 4wt for a nice dry fly presentation.
  9. Just go to get a firewood permit which is good for 30 days only $5 and your fine to use up to 6 trees of dead fall or standing dead wood. this is the website with maps of areas you can cut wood. Its alot of area http://www.srd.alberta.ca/FormsOnlineServi...rnrockiesregion Of course there are still areas where its not permitted so it depends on your path.
  10. I have the 4wt st croix and love it. It has a guidleines reel which I dont love as much as the rod but the rod is exactly what I was looking for in a lighter weight rod. I also happen to have that reel although on a 6wt and like it better then my guidelines one.
  11. Maybe it doesnt apply to waterways? This is the part I found interesting. Guide and instructor permits 44(1) In this section, “guide” means a person who for remuneration leads or guides persons on recreational trips. (2) No person shall (a) act as a guide, or (B for remuneration conduct a course of instruction in an outdoor activity in a provincial park or recreation area unless that person is the holder of a permit authorizing that person to do so and issued under this section. (3) The Minister may provide for the issuing of permits for different classes of guiding and instructional activity. Section 45 AR 102/85 PROVINCIAL PARKS (GENERAL) REGULATION 19 (4) The Minister may issue a permit if (a) an application is made in the form specified by the Minister and is accompanied by the appropriate fee, and B the applicant submits evidence required by the Minister as to the applicant’s training, qualifications and general suitability to carry on the activity in respect of which the permit is applied for. (5) The Minister may require an applicant for or the holder of a permit under this section to provide evidence that the person is covered by a policy of insurance providing adequate protection against public liability and property damage. (6) The Minister may make a permit under this section subject to terms and conditions the Minister considers appropriate including, without limitation, terms and conditions respecting the following: (a) the area in which and the times during which the person may act as a guide or carry on the instructional activity and the manner in which the guiding or instructional activity must be carried out; (B the duration of the permit; © the filing with the Minister of reports, returns and other documents
  12. x2 Hoser on the other hand, some might find offensive.
  13. Marquis Spas also has full insulation. The only downside to full insulation is if you get a leak its going to be difficult to find and repair. Ive had one for 10 years and the only thing we had to replace was the heating coil, which was 100 bucks. Ours gets used almost daily in the winter and is still pumping. Im not sure who sells them in calgary anymore though.

  15. Police sounds like a good idea Ive always wanted to head down there. Thanks.
  16. Yeah that would be nice but id be more lost in BC then I am here.
  17. Hey looking for some ideas on where to go do some camping fishing this weekend. Im assuming most streams are going to be out of the question. How about some lakes? Something fish able from shore would be best. Thanks.
  18. Not that I will be voting NDP but "Mason also committed to declaring the Castle Special Place in southwestern Alberta a protected park." http://www2.canada.com/story.html?id=6386654
  19. If one cable from your receiver to Tv does all the rest it should do the same with the xbox, one from xbox into receiver, you will just have to manually switch the receiver to the xbox input if you don't want to program the remote. All inputs into the receiver should be output from the one HDMI if that makes sense.
  20. This must have been it. I just never realized the chupacabra has migrated this far north.
  21. Maybe a mormot http://wild-facts.com/wp-content/uploads/2...armot_1_web.jpg

  23. The Delta royal canadian has a nice spa.As well as the banff caribou.

    Acetone

Oh interesting, i never realized that, its there other flies that use this concept. Also If you tie down some chenille then wrap with floss would that work or would it degrade the floss to much to hold the chenille or break it down as well?
