  1. Let the money work for you right up until you die, thats when all the fun begins. Whatever you do with it im make sure it will be something you will always remember.
  2. If you work downtown it doesn't matter where you live the commute is going to suck.
  3. Cateract has tons of brookies at least the last time I was there which was before the flood. Not sure what the road situation is right now but it looks to be reopening with the upcoming season.
  4. Ill be stopping by somtime for sure.
  5. You dont find the shack, the shack finds you.
  6. Royal coachman, love to tie them aswell.
  7. Im pretty sure they were already the wealthiest before this.
  8. I believe fish creek has already been realigned, since that portion of the road is already built. I could be wrong though maybe further realigning.
  9. Here my attempt. Pretty much a take on a royal coachman'ish. Hook size 10 spun deer hair for hackle.
  10. Im workin on some, still struggling a bit.
  11. Sounds like fun to me. Count me in
  12. I agree with this as well, I would also like to see the profiles of who the panel that voted on this consisted of. All that is known is they are Citizens.
  13. Its not just same owners it is owned and operated by telus. Also im assuming you have a samsung, which makes 26% of the parts for the iphone. SO the iphone is only 74% sweatshop work haha.
  14. Koodo is owned and runs on the same network as telus. Also Rogers has a larger 4g network in alberta then telus. I have gone weeks out of service with my iphone and never had any problems with returning to a serviced area.
  15. I have an iphone and an andriod tablet. The tablet drives me bonkers. So many freezes and restarts. Plus the app selection i dont find very good. Specificly with microsoft docs. I just upgraded my iphone to the 5s and its faster then my tablet. Which is only 6 months old.
  16. HAHA i stopped reading after its "going to be peaceful" HEAD OF THE LIFERS GROUP.
  17. Ive noticed the same. Might have somthing to do with the vast open areas beside the creeks and rivers that were created by the floods. I have also never had more encounters with COs then any other year. And in some places that actully startled me since i have almost never seen another person in some of these places. Which is a good thing. So hopfully they cracked down on irresponsible quaders as well.
  18. You could try boom creek and lake. not banff but close.
  19. I know of one pool closer to the bow that has larger fish in it. If you fish in the evening you will see risers. But convincing them to eat is not easy. It has a very large rock in it.
  20. I wouldnt write off fish creek, there are lots of small ones but you can get some good ones in there as well if you look for them.
  21. Theres no point in complaining if you dont name the company, I would like to here the name as would many others.
  22. I tie all my flys on barbed treble hooks, I just cut the line to release the fish... oh I also took a piss in hidden creek last week after i clear cut an area to haul in my trailer with my quad up the creek.
  23. From the the point of view of a husband with a wife who does therapy with children and my own psychology degree and work with others, I had a hard time reading much past the threats and destruction. I think a proper child psychologist is the best course of action at this time. At best its just the child acting out over the situation or poor parenting but It could escalate or be an underlying problem or condition. And if money is an issue alberta does have good funding for children in need of counseling. Thats my point of view not in anyways to be taken as anything other then such.
  24. Wow did they ever F*&^ this up. I think everyone here thought this would happen, but to see it actually happen is devastating.
