I'm glad I was so pissed off that I left work at 3:00 yesterday. Normal commute home for that time of day. Went from Douglasdale to the Superstore at 4:45 and back at 5:15 and nothing. My son called me at 11:15 and said he finally made it to his destination....Cougar Ridge to Strathcona in 3.5 hours. According to him I live in a cave and don't listen to the news.....but I don't think we got anything here that the north got.

Glad to hear you're pulling through there. Word of caution though - only because it's so tough to self-diagnose and even tougher to get a 100% diagnosis from a hospital - pay attention to the respiratory signs. My hairdresser's daughter came to her room one night at 3 in the morning not breathing. Into Rockyview in 10 minutes. On Tamiflu and Ventolin and sent home with "H1N1". Week later same incident, but with a throat so raw it was almost bleeding. Turns out it was croup...and nothing to do with H1N1. It's a bitch when we're all looking out for one thing and dismissing others equally as dangerous.
