  1. If you pick out what yo can see and then use a solution of soap and water, that should take down the population. The ratio I have used is 20 parts water 1 part soap (Liquid dish soap). Wipe down all the leaves if you can as well to get rid of the eggs if you see them on the leaves. If they are in the soil, you can top dress with diatomaceous earth. There is a product called tangle foot that may help if this is a larger plant, but I'm not sure if it is safe for indoor use. I would call up Green gate and see if they have any real advise for you.
  2. The videos look great. Especially liked the June on the bow segment. That is one monster brownie.
  3. Awesome! Thanks for posting the link.
  4. here is the direct link. Gotta love RMR
  5. Breaking News! Toronto Maple Leafs Win Stanley Cup! Canada was stunned Monday when it was announced that The Stanley Cup will be awarded to the Toronto Maple Leafs, possibly as early as December 6th. The cup will be stripped from 2008 playoff champions the Detroit Red Wings and be awarded to the Leafs, who didn't even make the playoffs. How is this possible, Canadians ask? Well, the Leafs have formed a coalition with eastern conference semifinalists the Montreal Canadians, and conference quarter finalists the Ottawa Senators, now outnumbering the Red Wings. According to current Leaf coach Ron Wilson "the Red Wings have lost the confidence of the league and should hand the cup over immediately to our coalition". NHL commissioner Gary Bettman is cutting short a European trip to try to resolve the unprecedented hockey crisis that could force a second playoff series, or see an opposing team coalition take the cup.
  6. I use the superfly brand for all of my palmered marabou and I tie about 3000 alaskabou's and palmered marabou flies a year. I get tons of nice stems in the 1/2 oz package, I've bought the wapsi rebranded marabou before and was sadly disappointed, but at other times I have got some rally nice product. You won't get 100% in a package unless you go to a premium brand like the Hareline has, but you will only get 10-12 feathers in a package. Depending on how large of marabou you need, you may also want to look at the Spey marabou which is packaged more specifically for palmering. Perhaps not so much the brand, but take a look at the material before you buy it if you can.
  7. Hell ya! Clive, you are awesome.
  8. I call your flyboxes. Just think of all the time you'll have to come up with witty insults now! Hope your flipper heals well.
  9. LE, you scare me. I'm getting a restraining order today, just in case. Have a good one BBT.
  10. http://www.metacafe.com/watch/27395/human_face_fish/ Someone peed in the (gene)pool.
  11. You would need to get in touch with Superfly and fill out an account application. But by the sounds of it, you likely wouldn't qualify.
  12. Dealer or commercial tyer of some scale. They have some minimums that you need to meet in order to qualify ie business registration numbers and such. If you need a one time bulk order, you can go through any of the Calgary fly shops, as they can order from Superfly in bulk for you.
  13. Even the Liberal party doesn't want Dion and he figures to take over as PM? It's legal, but I still have a problem with it. I voted for a party and I can accept that they did not get elected, this seems like there are some sore losers out there. This system obviously isn't working to the benefit of Canadians. We seem quite against change but it looks like it will be forced upon us shortly. The Stooges are playing nice for the time being, but how long will that last?
  14. LOL Nice one.
  15. Sweet, but she's still getting a vacum cleaner.
  16. Thanks for all the entries. We'll be selecting a tyer from one of the 3 forums shortly and will contact them.
  17. Thanks for the warning Terry. It's not unheard of to get hit on a FF site. We do have a ton of security built into the site and it's checked on a regular basis. If something did get through, the host would likely shut down the site so it can be fixed. If anyone deos run into anything, let us know and we'll be on it like Carlodabroads on poachers
  18. Less than 24 hours left to get in your pattern. Don't miss out on the opportunity. Be sure to post it to this thread to be entered.
  19. Contact Superfly at sales@superfly.ca. They are the biggest man / dist of materials in Canada.
  20. Might be worth reporting that to animal control as well. Seems there are lots of wild dogs around the city.
  21. Cariboo is great to spin. Just be sure to use 3/0 or larger thread. I think I know the beads you are talking about. They usually are used to enhance the connection to a trailer hook on a tandom fly.
  22. Envy Welcome to the site. I have to ask if you really did watch the videos? The ones that were posted are no longer available to watch. I wonder why that is? I did take a look at his new videos and his handling has improved in the 18 months since this was first posted. I'm not convinced he's using barbless hooks though as he looks to have to really torque out those lures. Perhaps you should look again on this forum then you can defend him posting pics like this and throwing his trash into the river (Yes he filmed it for all to see). There are a ton of great shots of specimen trout floating around this site by people who repect the resource. By all means, feel free to post your own, we're looking forward to it.
  23. We've had it set-up, but it didn't get used. IF there is alot of interest, we could set iy up again.
