tro Posted August 26, 2007 Posted August 26, 2007 My biggest to date. Damn that is a sweet catch!!!!!, what province was that in?, the stream doesn't look big enough to support a fish that size Quote
Bravoman Posted August 31, 2007 Posted August 31, 2007 I've definitely got to throw a shout out to Hawgstoppah (Brian) for helping me get into this big Brown in August 2002. Thanks man! So far the largest I've caught........by far! And near 4" THICK across the back! Put up a great fight and I remember Brian trying to downplay how large it was while tryingt to net it "Just in case it spit the hook!!" Don't get me wrong, the fish didn't fit into the net. The net was more like a touque over it's head but it did the job all the same. I think it was the only fish of the day, but I'll take one large fish over many small fish any day. Again.... Thanks Brian! Trev Quote
Bravoman Posted August 31, 2007 Posted August 31, 2007 Pic #2 PS: If someone could please send me info on how to post more than 100k. I see lots of posts with multiple photos, but I haven't figured out how to do that yet. Thanks, Trev Quote

Hawgstoppah Posted September 2, 2007 Posted September 2, 2007 Trev! Nice fish man I remember that fish well. It was sitting in about 2ft of water behind a small island. We played it downstream about 500 yards or more. That shot was taken on your camera I think... wasn't it? Quote
EdB Posted September 3, 2007 Posted September 3, 2007 geez...those are some nice fish. I must be losing alot of clarity when i shrink my pictures. They don't look nearly that nice and i'm using the same camera as some of you. Great job. Still can't get more than one pic on a post though. Quote

Pescador Posted September 21, 2007 Posted September 21, 2007 A couple of pike picks, a brown and a decapitated Yellow-fin. Quote
swordfish76 Posted September 26, 2007 Posted September 26, 2007 where was the yellowfin? That's my favorite fish!! Pure powerhouse. I started offshore fishing when I was a boy, and it's in my blood. I really like the change over from ocean to beautifull scenery like the Highwood area etc. Nice pic's! By the way, what is a good pike water? Quote
esleech Posted October 5, 2007 Posted October 5, 2007 Tie1on24, those are excellent fish. Love the BFR in the bottom pic! Who need 500$ reels! Quote
trailhead Posted October 5, 2007 Posted October 5, 2007 With the weather we are having I was going through some shots, and this was so idyllic it brings it all back. Quote
Glenbow Posted October 6, 2007 Posted October 6, 2007 Geez Trailhead, you musta had to paddle way back from your cast & wait a bit for the ripples to dissipate for that picture............or you can cast about a mile farther than me. I can get 'er out a solid rod length & 1/2 already. Quote
matt1984 Posted October 6, 2007 Posted October 6, 2007 Was looking at the seasons pictures the other day, stuck in saskatoon for school and missing the bow. So i made a little slide show of this seasons fish. Had a good year for my first one, gotta give lots of credit to this sight for helping learn so fast. slide show of '07 bow river fish Quote
biffchan Posted October 24, 2007 Posted October 24, 2007 I suppose I could add a few from my collection. I would post more on other topics but I'm kinda a newbie to this area so my knowledge probably woldn't help too many people. There, I think thats all for now. Sorry about the quality on them, I had to compress them signifigantly to get them into my gallery. Quote
