SilverDoctor
Please be pro active out there and take a stand. Our Trout and other species are under a lot of pressure this year with water levels low and temperatures high. Taking illegal catches will put too much pressure on a delicate balance that could effect our fisheries for years to come. https://www.solgps.alberta.ca/programs_and_services/public_security/Pages/ReportAPoacherProgram.aspx 1-800-642-3800 or #3800 if calling from a TELUS cell phone Albertans can help protect fish and wildlife resources through the Report a Poacher program. Guest bigdirty
I've called in twice, both times officers have shown up. No poaching incident is too small. Do it!

Tibore
Carry your cell phones with you at all times! Even in the backcountry with no signal. A video goes a long way in a investigation and will get results faster!!
SilverDoctor
Three years ago I called in so many that I ended up with a nice reward. Enough $ for a new Loop Opti Stream fly rod with some left over for fly tying goodies.

lad
Assuming they kept the fish is jumping to a conclusion with out facts and not really fair. The video was uploaded in January 2010 and we are not sure when the fishing took place. It could also be from a different water body at a different/ earlier date and they are actually not interested in hot spotting like so many others. If it is in fact the Oldman river the biggest crime in my eyes is there are Rainbows in a Cutthroat river. Gross negligence right there.
