Smitty Posted April 7, 2015 Posted April 7, 2015 Lots of fly anglers do. It's a good tool for locating structure, lake features, and of course, fish. Quote
Crowsnest Posted April 7, 2015 Posted April 7, 2015 Lots of fly anglers do. It's a good tool for locating structure, lake features, and of course, fish. It's like my American Express Card, I don't leave home without it...... Quote
cgyguy Posted April 7, 2015 Posted April 7, 2015 I am always getting the extension chord soaked, and you need at least three hundred feet of it !!! Kidding aside, fish finders are awesome for belly boats, mine is portable obviously, and works to locate structures, drop offs, etc. Make sure it is well mounted as mine went for a swim a couple years ago! Enjoy the added piece of equipment! Cheers Cgyguy Quote
fishinglibin Posted April 7, 2015 Posted April 7, 2015 I think they are much easier to mount on the pontoon than a belly boat. I like the hummingbird 120. Ralph, you should get the cord that floats and has optional bobbers. Quote

Shooster55 Posted April 16, 2015 Posted April 16, 2015 I use one on my pontoon boat when fishing lakes and trolling with the Minn Kota on the back...works great. Quote
