ÜberFly Posted January 19, 2010 Posted January 19, 2010 Actually she has ulterior motives seeing that she is a psychologist and wants to try and help others that share the same addiction as I do!! <kidding> P Actually, I think my wife is working! But Deb, and any other significant other bored enough to come to a gathering of fly fishermen/women, is welcome! Quote
Bowbiker Posted January 19, 2010 Posted January 19, 2010 Need big stick of butter. Hey Rick, I'll be there at 7:45 with a big stick of butter. One stick or two? Cheers, Dick Seymour Quote
Smitty Posted January 19, 2010 Posted January 19, 2010 RickR / Biker: I was going to bring the butter! But would you like me to stick to cake? I know cake is not normal for breakfast, but this isn't a normal breakfast, if you know what I mean. Plus it will have my Grandmother's special brown sugar icing. If you want. Otherwise, just say the word, and I'll bring something more...practical. (Biker, you can bring the butter, I better stick to something that isn't needed at 7:45 am!) Smitty Quote
Pipestoneflyguy Posted January 19, 2010 Posted January 19, 2010 Rick - I'll put $20 in the kitty for what ever extras you may need. Quote

bigalcal Posted January 20, 2010 Posted January 20, 2010 ] And not to be totally un-environmentally sound- if someone can bring recyclable plates and glasses that would be sweet. Is there a such thing as recyclable knives and forks? Could us some of those as well. I unfortunately won't be there but may I suggest attendees bring their own plates, cups, glasses and cutlery, and then bring them home and wash them. That might be the environmental way to go. Just suggestin'! Quote
ÜberFly Posted January 20, 2010 Posted January 20, 2010 I think that is a great idea, especially if people have some camping type plates/bowls, etc.!! reevesr1 Posted January 21, 2010 Author Posted January 21, 2010 Courtney, Hope you can make it. As to the recyclable stuff-Anyone who wants to bring their own cutlery and stuff, go ahead. And we can use whatever we have, but other than that I won't worry about it. Too complicated. Quote

murray Posted January 23, 2010 Posted January 23, 2010 Rick, it was darn good of you to host a bunch of no goodniks. |I enjoyed meeting all you guys. Thanks again Rick Murray Quote
reevesr1 Posted January 23, 2010 Author Posted January 23, 2010 Totally my pleasure everyone. I truly enjoy doing it. I was walking around the show today. I bet I shook hands today with at least 30 people I've met through this board. Many (or most) of which I've fished with at one time or another, all of which I proudly call friends. Not to get all mooshy, but hosting a breakfast is the least I can do for this community. Edit: Oh, and I also ended up with some extra food, cake, a fly rod (thanks Jack!!), and some of the best damn stillwater flies in a shiny new box (thanks Tim). So it ain't that much of a hardship!! Taco Posted January 24, 2010 Posted January 24, 2010 Outstandin' time Rick. Thanks, I owe you n'other cutty trip Hoss It was good to meet everyone. Quote
