that rod line combo sucks.. needs a opti reel..... like it only switch casts the full line no prob every freak time and overhand casts further if u had more runningline...... who needs that......

there are some sucd populations in teh bow.. mostly living in the inside bends, large back eddies, above weirs etc........ i ahve had some success with them from time too time... some places can be deadly fishin scuds in the early summer but i havnt really targeted them all the time nor is it a go too fly of mine.

thats a tough one dude.. fishin in teh parks are we? the lead free wire would be your best.. tying streamers? or nymphs? if it were nymphs u can get the tungesten sheet material.... another option would be too buy some sort of metal wire at a hardware store but it might not have the same weight u are looking for... the tungsten sheet stuff u could wrap a ton on a streamer hook and get some mega weight but u will have some pricey flies if u need alot of it.... try tying your flies sparly with less water obsorbant materials on heavy gauge wire hooks... like the salmon dudes out east..... or use bigger tips... htats what ive bin upto latley.. less lead in my flies n more in the tips... more info would be great dude and i might be able too help ya out a little more.. get ur table of elements and find otu wich metals are heavier than lead and see if u can track down some wire at a specialty shop? try welding supplies, electrical, craft stores etc....

u can put them in viles with rubbing alcohol but it fades the colors.. i jsut try and snap some decent shots riverside so i can get a decent idea of color.... had a huge collextion once but had the same problem so i said enough and tossed em and started with more photos.....

oddly enough outta all teh bugs i got stones i ahve the least photos of.... lmao.... gotta get on that next year..... now this one is a little dark.. i found her floating in teh water.. so she has darkened up form teh early stages of decay...but u can see roughly what u want.. this is a shot of a bunch of males n females mating.. u can see the odd under eblly on a few of them but not full images.. but it should give u a rough idea..... hope that helps dude!

adult golden stones are more of a tan than a yellow.. from what i have seen.. they have a slight yellow tint too em.. hwat i like too do is tye tan foam patterns and take a yellow sharpy and add a little yellow too em....... same with salmonflies i tye em in grey and add some peach too em.... will dig thorugh my photos and see what i got dude!

i usa ultra wire in a ton of colors for alot of stuff for johns i like the "fine" fir 20 n 18 i iuse the "small" for 16 and 14 and the medium for the 10 and 12s.. large i use mainly on streamers, stones and such..... hope that helps dude wire from old electronics are great too if u want the copper color wire but for any otehr color u gotta buy sumn different.. check out craft stores too.. got alotta cool things there.. was diggin through soem old x-mas tree stuff lastyear and ofund that the tinsel for the trees is deadly for flashabou! everythiung out tehre is usably if u can think of it.. binders make great thinskin is u have em in teh right color...

for casting u cannot beat henrik mortensons dvd's he ahs 4 of them and they are un freakin believable.. covers everything single and double handed that there possibly is.... only vid's i watch too learn from......

well said dude.. ive got teh same opinion or feelings about sage, my whole flyfishing life.... only because alot of people have the view taht... that if its not sage u dont own teh best rod out there...... i got a friend that owns a rod aorund 100 bucks and prefers his 300 foller one more after owning and fishin them both.... weird i know but.. if u like tossing that stick giver! a few more stick that you might want too try would be some g-loomis sticks.. if i recall they have a 13ft4inch 7wt (not 100% on taht tho) if u are looking too toss skagit and streamers.. they have a wider grain window.... teh deer creek is a nice rod aswell i prefer somethinga little faster myself.. the scierra stuff is nice aswell... but its all what you like the feel of in your hands... because that is the best way.. name should be so image orientated. btu thats marketing for ya....
