havin a clean simple text is boring.. i understand brian that the "big name" commercil companies have simple logos but who the hell rocks a walmart t shirt? aggresive and abstract is what most people rock.. look at msot clothing with logos on them......
like others mentioned leeches mutli colored sculpin patterns n clousers will be your best bet.. my best patterns the last few weks on the swing have black n purple spey popcicles, white buggers and tri color bow bugger
if you look hard u can fish dries all year. i wouldnt expect them too be all that productive compared too nymphs and streamers but i have found fish in the winter on the bow and crow.. jsut not tons of em.. midges hatch all winter long. the bwo's are producing most of hte fish for me the last few weeks the times ive spotted good fish working....... was a good one today thats forsure!!!!! but your on teh tail end of the "good" dryfly fishing
that is a good set up! know of a few people doings something similar or exactly the same! that will kep ya in teh grass tho the times u wnat too be bumping and rolling just on top
you could have bin running a little too deap. this month with all the weed growth dying off there are tons of em floating mid water column so its just the usual for teh time of year! its frustrating bt it happens.. try a little shorter enxt time but my guess is its more the dead stuff floating in teh current that is getting ya! in teh summer i usually run shorter or hopper dropper too stay of the beds!
its coudl all be up too you! if your into a trout thing mainly or 100% i would say a 6 or 7 wt in the 11-12 1/2 range! skagit will tosss tips and streamers more easily than other lines! keep the questions coming and we wil do our best too help! my favorite bow stick is a 11' 6" 7wt but i used a 12' 6wt too start off.. also owned a 13' 4 " 6wt wich was fun too! 8wts and higher are typicaly more steelhead and salmong rods!
the bard us actualy made first and is apart of te bending of the hook in teh manufacturing process... so ive bin told.. they dont wana re tool all of there shops to supply only a few neiche markets that are barbless.. most of t world is still barbed... so it takes mroe money too use "special" machines too make barbless.. whatever eh!!!!!!!!!! buti see why they wont make all barbless hooks.. most states dont "need" them..
back too teh original topic.. it sucks people dont pinch the barbs.. we sut need to educate everyone we see on the river! like others have mentioned it is usualy ignorance..
super thin chronnies all the way!!!!! larvae and pupae.. the real ones are skinny mo fo's on layer of thread at best for a 16 or smaller! micro beads too!!!!!! smales ones u can buy!
probably tons of lakes dude! i would be combing google.. there might be char i know the summer is primetime for the bigger char too move in form the ocean too spawn in early fall.. what is the name of the river?
