schweet dude!!!! ive seen some nice browns below teh falls! had a buddy slay a nice one lastyear! did you get any of those browns above the falls by any chance? ive only heard of halfdozen taken above? just curious more than anything!? congrats either way!

im for killin brookie! bows too! were the native cutties and bulls might be at risk! but at teh same time amore hardy larger species like the cuttbow is just a good way too go down the road i suppose for longevity of the sport.. but it woudl really suck too see that our native and unique species of trout disapear ... so its tuff too call what we should do! another thing taco..i know it was a long shot but this fish reminded me more of pics ive seen of a snake river cutt or a yellowstone.. i knwo we dont have them.. but it seemed odd! almost too pure for a westlope.. or just a freak! the photo dosnt show it but it had way more blue and purple in teh whole body wich seemd really odd! just a lucky one i suppose that hasnt got boinked by a bow?

looks like people found some cool bones left some food and a grizz left some scrapings on teh tree? chumming in bears for hte other campers too deal with when they left? would be my guess

yup! there are some big lake browns adn rainbows out east thats forsuer! most lake living trout swim upa creek too spawn! some(not all) just dont grow 10 - 20 lbs like the great lake trouts do tho!

the columbia river basin red band and other trout species are not native wolfie they were stocked.. all browntrout in north america are european.. brookies otehr than easter canada and north eastern usa are all stocked one way or another across teh usa and canada... all bows/redbands in alberta were stocked no matter were u are in teh province(except teh athabasca drainage).. most from strains in teh states... the only native ifsh too alberta in the salmonidae family are the grayling cutty bull laker and athabasca bow only in teh athabasca drainage no were else in alberta .. i believe we have several species of redband trout.. pick up "trout and salmon of north america" about a dozen species of redband in the states if not more if memory serves me correct....

like others mentioned they arnt going too spawn mainly because one is spring spawner and the other is fall.. the red bands u find with white markings isnt all that rare.. seem em on teh crow quite a bit!
