the other day i got maybe a 4or 5" fish on a size 6 skid bitch! hugeee fly for such a little fish

pick n pull would most likely have a window. is it a hatch back or sedan? maybe i can find you something. was there body damage? was the underbody all smashed up when they high centered it?

there is a resivour that is fed by the canal further east that has some decent size pike in it. ps sorry to hear about your ankle i broke my pelvis in febuary and it sucks being stuck at home after two weeks i was fishing the bow on crutches. im sure you will be out before you should aswell. be careful and hope you heal up good

im the same way... but i cant make a pair of sunglasses last more then 3 months without being scratched to *hit or lost. right now im also rockin the rapala shades. pretty chessy glasses but they do the trick. mec carrys some cheaper polarised shades that are a little less ugly. may want to check them out. btw the full bongs part is awsome, you should come fishing with us!

its emptied it was a great day minus the wind.. i was fishing a double streamer rig and hooked right threw my shirt threw my back and back out my shirt lol thank god for barbless hooks! we got into a a few more nice fish after you left. mike landed a 23 bow and the fish were rising hard starting at 930 or so. there were huge clouds of tricos? and lots of caddis. great job today darren your doing great for a only your third time out! also today we caught fish in all sizes from 8" to 24". the little ones were mixed in with the big ones.

i caught one in the nw last year. it was righht on the seam of a fast current. i saw a post on here last year of a huge pike pulled out of the bow, anyone know where to find the pic?

would anyone like to share a good pattern? ive been searching around and have found a ton of patterns. but i dont know how good they are, a point in the right direction would be great!

i picked up a reel the other day at springbrook when i was picking up a new rod. it was 75$ its has center drag. the guy in there told me they were shiped there by accident. its made by the people that make redingtons reels. and is supposed to sell for 150 area. not to sure how its going to hold up, ive fished it maybe 6 or 7 times since i picked it up. it has no noise when you reel it in so you can just spin it and pick up line in a hurry. im very happy with it so far and the guy said it should do me good. i looked it over and it looks very well built. right now it has 150yrds of backing and my line. it could easily fit another 100yrds maybe more. you might want to check it out

its funny you say the they break easily... i have had my tfo a year and it took driving over it to break it.. i fished it more then 100 days and never had a problem... and im sure it would have lasted alot longer.

correct me if im wrong but in barry mitchels book does he not tell a story about fishing the waipours area. and how he has given up on it because it doesnt produce many if any fish? i have fished waipours and i my self wouldnt recomend fishing it. there are much better smallers rivers and creeks to fish that you can have a ton of fun on! pm sent

hey don do you twist up your rubber bands and then tie them onto the hook? i tied a few like this but have yet to use them.

depending on the flows i think the lower float of the highwood takes around 2 hours. its been a few years since i have done it. there are also cliffs at the end you can jump off and a nice gravel area to lounge in the sun.

i have floated the highwood from the highway 552 bridge to natures hideaway it doesnt take very long but its relaxing. how long are you looking to float?

did you find the deal online? or was it a personal sale? if there are more for 100$ i might just have to pick one up
