With frog hair an improved clinch doesn't work as well as the standard clinch in my testing. All other brands of tippet I use an improved but not frog hair.

Daiichi 1180's are what I use. They work great for me and I haven't had any problems with them straightening.

People are missing is the point of pseudonym's posts... I look at it as like he's trying to create discussion in a positive way. Which he has been able to do to a point until people think he's stroking his ego... If he simply came out and said this is what I use when I fish and I like to share my information with everybody, what kind of discussion would have come of that? None I would guess. Hearing different perspectives, whether it be on fishing or on any problem that may present itself, is good and expands one's knowledge and creativeness...

for more motion you can add some close to eye/bead as well. much like you would do the wings/legs on a pheasant tail.

Many places (too many to name) that were once a trophy lake are no longer, and handing people directions on a silver platter isn't going to help that cause. I understand that you're hoping to help out families, but a quick look at the regs and a decent map will get you to most of the stocked lakes that are intended for such purposes.

Using burst mode results in decreasing your megapixels for most point and shoot cameras. Although you may get a good angle of the fish, the results may not be desirable.

My sister has sent a few of her patients with knee issues to Great Falls to have surgery done when they don't want to wait to have the surgery done here. If you'd like, I could ask her the name of the Dr. and clinic that she recommends.

Thanks guys...I will check those out. Much appreciated.

Trying to clear out my old textbooks that are now outdated...does anyone know where I can donate them? Most places I've looked into don't accept textbooks. I would prefer to not have to throw them in the recycling bin.... Thanks!

Weenie Test Three third graders from Tennessee: an Irish kid, an Italian kid and a Black kid, are on the playground at recess. The Irish kid suggests that they play a new game. "Let's see who has the largest weenie," he says. "Okay." They all agree. The Irish kid pulls down his zipper and whips it out. "That's nothing," says the Italian kid. He whips his out, and proudly shows that his is at least an inch longer. Not to be outdone, the black kid whips his out. It is by far, not only the biggest, but the fattest. That night, eating dinner at home, the Black kid's mother asks him what he did at school today. "Oh, we worked on a science project, had a math test, and read out loud from a new book, and then during recess, my friends and I played a new game called 'Let's see who has the largest weenie." "What kind of game is that, honey?" asks the mother. "Well, me, Anthony and Patrick each pulled out our weenies, and I had the biggest! The other kids say it's because I'm Black. Is that true? "No, Leroy. It's because you're eighteen!"

What Are The More Odd Things You Have Pulled Up?

Hooked into an otter a couple years ago on a lake in BC...broke off before I had to deal with it thankfully. -
It is definitely a light rod as well. My example was to only show that you can throw heavier rigs if needed. My standard fishing with it is dries size 16 and under. I have often thrown size 20/22 dries with ease and delicacy which is what your looking for in a 2wt if you have have one I think.

I ended up sticking a SA Trout WF line on mine. Works well with my casting style. I agree with headscan, it should handle indicator rigs. I actually have thrown big pike flies with mine...and it still handled them fairly well, just need to make sure to open up your loops. (Wasn't my intention to use it as a pike rod, but when the situation presents itself one must make do.)

If you walk lots, which I do as well, seams not on the inside of the legs would be preferable. Simm's G3's and up offer that on the lower leg which is great, but the upper thigh/crotch area the seams are on the inside receiving more wear. This is were mine failed after a year. Not a nice surprise wading out in cold water and realizing your seams are leaking in the crotch.

may as well not get a fishing license either. who gets checked anyways?

Got my hands on these a while ago...not the easiest to tie with but figure that this fly should hold up...

Thanks guys. Will give it a try and hopefully it'll work!

Might want to look at the ZXL for the 3 or 4 weight as well. I've got a ZXL in a 4 and a Z in a 6. I prefer casting the ZXL over the Z-axis...

B. Sutter should never put Iginla in shootouts. \ I wonder if Auld was thinking he was going to shoot or deek?!? He stops skating at the top of the circle, plant's his feet and winds up for a wrist shot...not the hardest thing to stop. Seems to be his "trademark" in the shootouts too...McGratton has better hands then him! -
