  1. I'll do my best to make it this year Clive, I missed last years and am kicking myself for it.
  2. Might as well add some more fuel to the fire, here are some more photos from the course of the summer. Hopefully you enjoy...
  3. I'm in......I like the ideas of the side bet, nothing to pricy but worth it's weight in gold
  4. Awesome story and great pics Hiketofish. Your scat is that of a bear. It's just a little old and from the spring/early summer, when the bears are eating hedysarum and other vegetation to clean out the colon after a hard winters rest
  5. Do polar bears eat Penguins? After eating, do amphibians have to wait one hour before getting out of the water? Are you breaking the law if you drive past those road signs that say "Do Not Pass"? And who ever said there is no such thing as a stupid question surely didn't have enough time on his/her hands...
  6. Weedy just go fork out the dough for a YSI meter and you can monitor all the water parameters for your fishing needs........may have to sell off the fly equipment to pay for one though
  7. Not a goat, but a bighorn sheep. Maybe these pics will help Bighorn Sheep Mountain Goat
  8. Possibly a buffalo skull depending on where you were. Might have been an old buffalo jump nearby
  9. Well the first one is a bighorn in a rather unique pose for the camera and the second one is some bone strucure from a terrestrial mammal, no idea without having some different angles to work with. I'll have to dig through some photos to see if I can add any intriguing oddities.
  10. Just go buy some black label.....taste the same.
  11. I've seen bigger..jks Sweet fish dude! I'm finally going to get some time off (aka weekends). Like I haven't said that before! hopefully we can get out and hit up some water here soon.
  12. A little buffer, nail polish and duct tape and she's good as new. Hopefully everything works out, and if not its time to start helping old ladies across the street (just don't be fresh like Dave and cop a feel).
  13. Well like any research program, of course it will be underfunded so the pay will be about as good as delivering pizza's ( probably much less). But of course there are some fringe benefits that no other job can offer (at least I hope not). As for the species terminology, unless your packing some extra gear below the belt, the options are very limited for successful copulation. All interested applicants please PM all your favorite fishing spots and I will narrow my choices down from there......
  14. Well I'll have to start by asking for volunteers and something tells me people may be a bit reluctant (unless some fancy wording was used....) Anyone wish to partake in a reseach program to study the pheremonal effects on Odocoileus virginianus in relation to interspecific copulation behaviour?
  15. I remember seeing this a while ago and from what I remember the hunter doused himself in buck urine which seemed like a good idea at the time...... I don't know whats better using buck urine and pissing the deer off, or using doe estrus and getting sodomized........
  16. As always Clive wicked shots. Can't wait to get out with the camera this hunting season to get some shots of some big bucks with swollen necks (and nice racks to boot). Cheers,
  17. Boggles me how anyone could put a few spooked fish over fire fighters conducting training, or a rescue for that matter. Kudos to the firefighters! From my experience of running a zodiac in the Belly and St. Mary's river, you need as much pratice as you can get to find out places to launch and how to keep from totaling a $15,000 boat. Makes no sense for the fire department to have a zodiac to rescue some poor unfortunate soul if they don't know the capabilities and maneuverability of the water craft.
  18. Yes....eat shellfish......and thats it
  19. Sockeye it to him. No need for BS like that on our streams. Next time duct tape him to a tree with his pants down by his ankles and spray doe estrus all over him It'll be a good lesson learned! On a more serious note, its always better to let the law handle it, to keep yourself safe from flying rocks.
  20. That was an interesting video to say the least, and just a wee bit disturbing. Lets see them try that with a perch or walleye....
  21. For those interested in hiking, some of the lakes down south are only about 2.5 hrs in and 2 hours back. There's more than enough day light to get a full days fishing in with an early enough start.
  22. Watch out for moose if you're going where I think you're going. The bears will go around, but the momma moose that lives in the brookie haven isn't overly friendly. I'll be in Waterton on Sunday if you want the inside scoop!
  23. Crappy deal about the fall, but you know you would have laughed if it was somebody else...... Hopefully the rest of the day went good.
  24. Thats the worst prize ever, he's a terrible kisser and always goes dutch......
