  1. Just a thought but possible going to a wooden oar would make a difference for u as the deflection in the oars themselves would give a little more power to move the boat. Match older tech with older tech. I built some wood oars for myself and they preform ands down better with my boat.
  2. Home Depot sells a product call xylene it is more powerful thank lacquer thinner be very careful with it but it will remove anything as well as melt rubber if u leave it too long. Good luck
  3. It is a long road ahead. I started my dog at about 8 weeks at the river and keep him on the shore out of the water. Easy till he learned he liked water. A lot. He's a lab. Now his rule is he does not pass me. Also You have to remember that they are just as excited to be out on the river as u at so tough love and some understanding are needed. One other Tip would be to get a 20' lead and attach to your waist to help him learn where u want him to stay.
  4. Looking at city boundary map u should still be able launch at pOlicemans flats.
  5. If it is mounted on the side it is just a ball bearing slide ( accuride is one brand name) can be found at Home Depot they are full extension slides. Usually $20 a pair. If it is mounted to bottom of drawer it is a blum blumotion slide and can be purchased from lee valley or Multiwood. Pm if u want more info
  6. I think the show was good this year. I believe that part of the issues on companies missing is that the international fly fishing show in Denver was this weekend too and that probably pulled more companies.
  7. Not really a brand loyal guy when it comes to tire but for winter driving if u want traction studded is the only way to go. I will maybe use 4x4 a couple times a winter. The other 99% of the time u just need studs. Not to mention helps u to stop on ice.
  8. Your best option for removing would be mineral spirits. Will not affect finish and works quite well. I am a carpenter and do a lot of spraying finishes as well. Just some background.
  9. If u look up closures on Alberta.ca the rivers are open except for one St. Mary I belive
  10. Dewinton animal hospital. Have taken my dog to a few different vets and been screwed around. Too him here and I go in with a problem he comes out with proper meds and I don't have to go back for the same issue.
  11. Just about had a heart attach then I finished reading. Nice one.
  12. That sucks have u guys called the pawn shops in town. To see if they have seen any one trying to sell the stuff
  13. I have delt with the new loop canada dealers a couple times now and they have been nothing but awesome to deal with. Much better than the previous distributor. I found that they responded best by email. I would contact them and see if they can help u with loop Sweden. Best of luck The multi series has been discontinued and is now the xact line and they are nice casting rods.
  14. I have not built the eternity. However I built the rain shadow switch 5wt. It is an extremely slow action rod. Just a heads up.
  15. Teak oil is the way to go. I recomend coating the hole shelf for a uniform finish. If it has not been done for some time the first coat will soak in fairly fast ( a day or so). You should oil the teak every year or to to help keep color and preserve the wood. Rich
  16. Thought it was well done for your first video
  17. I have the pant waders and found the cut of them to be the best. And the zipper is an awesome bonus.
  18. If you could let us know what shop I would gladly call the shop. Cj good on ya for taking a stand
  19. The time he took is not the issue it is the way he communicated withe the other boaters I am sure.
  20. While fighting is not great I must say that the guide probably stop the guy in the Lincoln from pissing off a hole bunch more people. Not to mention every now and then people need to be put in there place. It is not always pretty but it happens.
