Are you using both at the same time or intermitently without logging off? If yes then that's most likely the cause

I think it's a good idea but I think it would be best to run through an established organization like Big Brothers, Big Sisters and the like as these organizations have credibility where as a group from here may be deemed suspect, imagine what would make parents of these kids feel better; something from a reputable organization or a group from this board which probably most have not heard of. A few of us have done stuff with kids through outings organizied by Micheal Gelina (Rockdodger) that seemed to be a hit with the kids. Perhaps if Mike reads this he could provide some more direction on this type of thing.

No worries...... like I said it gets time consuming....most of the stuff I move is stuff relating to specfic areas that are in the general chat secttion, I move them to the appropriate area of specfic area chat IE BC, stillwaters etc I believe this makes info easier to find in future if it is in a category which makes it easier to find.

Not sure I know what you mean by this "no for other mods" as for explaining to each person that has something moved or deleted it is time consuming to pm every single case.....most are moved rather than deleted by the way.

I used to do it for every one but it had gotten to the point where I was doing more pming than anything else.....this explaination is for myself only and not nessessarily for the other mods.....if asked why something was moved or deleted just ask via PM and I will answer if I know the answer

Good Question; I'm not sure if there is ....I too find poll votes showing as new posts a bit on the annoying side. Perhaps Darren could tell us if this is possible.

I hear you Chris......most here don't have a clue including the person that started these topics......there are areas that the landowner does have ownership of the streambed. Our family owns several tracts of land that were acquired via HBC many years ago and I know for a fact that we own streambed rights on some of that land as well as the the land title to those that do not have streambed rights the land reaches to the waterline and not the highwater mark that many believe applies to all waterways. I personally believe those that have had encounts were trespassing to get to the water to begin with and think that is where the problem lies most.

cdrw's don't truly finalize and that is where the problem lies; they remain open in sense

What I don't get is this thread started in 2007 and ended in early 2008 and then someone recently cast a vote on it....as far as I know this topic has been dead since Mar/08
