Ouch, good thing he was not airborne when he hit you, could have been much worse for both of you. Shave your bumper!

You got it right Über, couldn't remember the name but i had a feeling someone would.

There is a place in a strip mall across 16av from foothills hospital, i beleive its called giligan's. In house smoked salmon and jerky as well, best in town from my experience. Right beside bonton meats and cobbs bakery.

Interesting. I've read somewhere about pacific salmon coming into atlantic ocean tributaries to spawn on the far soutn of south america. After some research scientist figured out that water coming from the glaciers is identical on pacific and atlantic side and therefore pacific salmon found their way to spawn on the atlantic side.

Sad to see Croatia out, great game with a lousy referee. Spain is incredible, not my favorite but they are very organized. Cant get over Italy going into second round, they definitely didn't show much so far and just mingled their way into second round beating only the weakest team. Hope they go home after the next game, but knowing them, they'll likely find their way into semifinals.

Nice, might catch it later tonite. Tsn2 on shaw is covering all the games!

Poland vs russia... Slavic mentality for world to see i knew it would happen, and it was not as bad as anticipated. There is more hate within youth than those who actualy had to live in communist regime. This is exact reason why i moved to Canada, a country where players fight, not the fans No need for another hilsborough or helsey to happen!

Spaniards and italians are both drama queens, lots of comotion around them yet they are very average at best. Ireland is weak, good players but they'll have to do something about their game if they want to continue on. Croatia is in the same boat, hopefully sportsmanship overcomes mentality.

Yes indeed, france vs england was interesting, germany vs holland should be a good game, look forward to it. Russians are dynamite, we'll see how they fare later, first game was a blast. Croatia vs ireland was a slow game, my team won, hopefully they can keep up with western europe. Anyone had a chance to peek at greece vs czech republik?

Every chance i get! Second round should be more exciting.

Sorry dude, my phone was acting up and couldn't reply on the forum. Do what js said, pull the wire off the spark plug, make sure it is away from any metal, it will throw a spark so keep it isolated! Its important to prime internals with oil, this way you will prevent seizure. Run your gas from a clean bottle as you don't know if there are any debris inside. Take that fuel tank of and pour some gas in, give it a good shake and drain it from the filler hole(to avoid clogging release valve), rinse untill you're sure its clean. Pm me if you need any more advice.

Sweeet moped! Change the oil in the case(rottela t6 does wonders for bikes, 5w40), remove your spark plug and put a few drops into cylinder. Replace the sparkplug. Clean out your carb with carbcleaner. Put everything back the way it was, recconect hoses and cables. Crank that bad boy a few times without starting it to prime cylinder wall and piston ring, then try to start it, assuming it makes any compression and ignition(check the coil and cables for cracks) is working. Seat can be redone for about $150, depending on materials used. Was it running fine before it was stored? It looks excellent from your pictures, should make a fun project.

Who Has The Best Pizza In Calgary
muha replied to Dxh's topic in General Chat - Not Fishing Related (NFR)
Sammy's donair pizza is worth checking out as well, one of my favorites. Ham and mushroom is tasty as well. If you're feeling fancy napolitan pizza in kensington is excellent, a bit pricy but delicious. -
Nice catch! Glenmore is one of the oddest fisheries, you might go fishless for couple of outings and than connect to a monster that will rip the rod out of your hands. Biggest pike i've seen out of there was 32lbs just a few years back. Once i stumbled on a dead one of similar size. Trout can reach up to 15 lbs and maybe more in there, my biggest was close to 9 pounds, brown buck. If you stalk the shoreline in evenings you can see big trout rising and chasing baitfish in shallows.

If it is not upside down.... Maybe try straight eye, or up eye hook istead of what you're using now seems to be a down eye, that should solve the problem.
-
Fish skulls have "keel" , keel should be on bottom side. By the looks of your picture i think you tied them in upside down. Never had problems with them, apart from finding small eye hooks that work with them.

I got hives just looking at that nest, nice clean shots and beauty fish!

Im using wifes old car, mazda protege. Was serviced properly since new, now has over 250000 and runs like a champ, if rust was not an issue I could run it for couple more years. Pathfinder for backup and boat tow. I will never get over my VW jetta, 1984 GLI coupe, believe it or not i was 7th owner and had over 800000km on it. Fishing, navex rally, sprint racer, and poker runner, she did it all until some idiot made a u-turn in a one way street and attempted to run over my car. Hands down cheapest and easiest car to fix on your own. One time she shot a sparkplug by silvan lake, i ran her on three cylinders all the way to calgary. She is greatly missed to this day.

Homewaters Fly Fishing Pictures 2012 Winter/spring
muha replied to EliteFisherman's topic in Photo Posts
Kinda sad, these youngsters are future of flyfishing in this province. Don't see anyone elses pictures deleted, and most pictures look like advertisements for various companies, from waders to rods to reels, none of those companies support this site and yet no one ever mentions it, mods do it as well. How about some common sense... -
Great shots, some serious fish you got there!
-
Just crazy, loved it!

I would also reccOmend snowbee xsd 460 cassette, great value with lifetime warranty. I got 460 this season but have been using 780 size for couple seasons on a 10' 8wt(redington redfly2) for pike and walleye, balance is very good. Plenty of drag power on it, and very smooth.

Marble trout. That big one was caught on border of italy and slovenia if memory serves me right. Them fishes can get huge upward of 50lbs.

Muskrat is what i was refering to, not mink, i apologize.
